YESSSSS. Vintage Tissot! Such class.I can't deny, that Gucci is gorgeous, just such a shame it has that ghastly brand on the dial 😅🤣. But the jewel in the crown here was the inclusion White shadow, that made this video for me. Outstanding picks amico. Love Omega at the end too. #pureclass Onwards and upwards! T.
This is literally the category of the next watch hunt I was going to under take for picking up a watch this holiday season. It's an outstanding video and well-timed for me personally.
For my wedding I found a 33mm solid good Hamilton Dateline A-279 (circia mid 60s). I bought it off of Goodwill online. It was practically NOS. The strap wasn't even broken in. It had a 25 year service award engraving. It had not ever been serviced so I sent it in to a watchmaker that specializes in Hamilton's. It has been rock solid ever since.
Amazing list. I find myself being pulled more and more into the vintage category lately. Really digging some of those older models. Love the channel, keep doing what you do.
Me too. There's just so much fun to be had with the vintage market. Finding a hidden gem in good condition for a good price is the best feeling in the world!
That Tissot is beautiful! I always wondered what disco volante meant haha! Interesting that you had the Spaceview as a dress watch. I guess if I was an engineer in the 1960's and 1970'd I would rock that to a formal event too! The white shadow in blue is stunning! Love the Cricket! That Eska is super pretty! Look at that cool Conquest and Constellation! Take care Kieron!
I do love a vintage dress watch and this is a fantastic line up. For me the stand outs are the Longines conquest and the vintage Omega pie pan constellation. Almost certainly out of my price range but absolutely stunning! Really enjoyed this video Kieron, top job as always mate 👍
Thanks mate. I took a break from the Top 10s for a couple of months so it's nice to be back with one. Took my time with this one and made it as good as I could. Hope all is well mate!
my family wore Longines, Cartier, and Patek Phillipe and Breguet. Through the years my grandfather gave them to everyone. My mom never let us accept anything . She didn't want us spoiled
tbh retro Gucci watches are far better than any modern ones… they were like the go-to watches for female dress watches at one point (apart from Cartier Tank, Omega for example).. but another brands that kinda went silenced were Ebel and Concord. My mom wore Ebels back in the late 80s/early 90s… then my dad wore few Dunhill watches aswell..how i missed those brands back in the day growing up… Raymond Weil is another
Terrific segment. Thanks for the tips on similar watches to Cartier. (Helping to search a graduation gift.) The recent vintage was a hoot. But the older watches stole the show
I had a bunch of vintage watches from JLC, IWC, Bulova and Omega with Tunning fork movements. Problem nowadays is that there are so few watchmakers still around who have the right kit to service them. Sadly all sold now except an old ships wall clock branded ‘Smiths’ with a Bulova tuning fork movement using two type C batteries. The red seconds hand sweeps so elegantly and time accuracy is remarkable. Did you consider Rado for cheap vintage dress watches. My wife has a lovely DiaStar from the 80’s with a tungsten case so it still looks like it’s brand new.
That Bulova is spectacular and certainly a conversation starter. You've had your tooth fixed! What are the haters going to moan about now. Oh wait, there's still the rest of your face.😂 Another great video Kieron.
The 80's/90's Gucci 3000 M is a very elegant looking dress watch indeed. A fashion brand it might be. Most probably, Gucci would be the first to admit that. But they do have their own factory in Switzerland. Compared to some, the quality is actually very good.
That was an interesting video - I tend to go by movement quality, so vintage Universal Geneve and Longines, as well as Omega, would always be near the top of my list. The trouble with a lot of constellations is bad quality dial restorations over the years, that's a real minefield. The vintage Zenith ultra-thins are also among the best around as well. If you've more cash to splash, then getting hold of VC and AP isn't hard at all, for prices that are fractions of what you'd pay for a modern version. Just always allow for a proper service.
Stop telling people about the White Shadow!!! I dont want the prices to get any higher! Also, Patek didnt copy the Ellipse, they bought the rights to the model from UG when they were colapsing.
It's okay, people don't watch these dress watch videos as much as my others. The secret should be safe for now. And correct! My statement was tongue-in-cheek 🙏 it's just something you wouldn't expect from PP
@TopTierTicker i know i know. I was joking. It's actually a great video. The UG, Tank and Manhattan are one of the best vintage watches to buy for the money imo. They are amazing and have huge historical value at affordable prices
Waayyy too small. I have a 8.25 inch wrist and 6’2 frame. Anything less than 42mm looks like a womans or a child’s watch on me. Really IWC, Bell & Ross, and Panerai are my go to for the correct fit.

Your comment got held for review you nasty devil! UA-cam is very weird sometimes. Appreciate the kind words as always T 🙏
Really nice video with some amazing shouts! Makes me greedy to buy some vintage goodness again

Good luck with your hunt my friend. Stay patient and don't settle for anything less than you desire!
I'm not much of a dress watch guy but that Sectora is extremely cool!

well , you are mad for including a gucci watch and i am still blown away that i want that watch.
Haha, kinda cool isn't it!?
@@TopTierTicker exactly what I was thinking. You (and the few others) are awesome for including awesome unheard of pieces
Great video Kieron! One of your best yet!
Non-biased comment here ;)

Kieron, please continue with this. We need to know more about dress watches and their back stories. Awesome video. 👍
Appreciate that. They'll certainly be more videos like this to come. I already have a couple in the works

I used to like your channel, after this video I love your channel. 💚
😂😂❤
Some very cool designs there, great vid
Thank you! Cheers!
I've got the Spaceview, it's small, but gets noticed a lot.
I can’t believe you are saying “St Mortiz” and even writing it on the screen!😂The inhabitants of St Moritz in Switzerland won’t be very happy!😅
Gucci 😱🫣lol.
Great video. Love the White Shadow. Gorgeous.
Hahaha, what do you think about it though? kind of cute, no? haha

Great video, as always!
Appreciate you!
With the Longines look out for the 30L calibre, it was better than Rolex.
Great video mate. I actually love the old Gucci watch there. I own a Gucci 9000M that was give to me by my father.
Terrific segment. Thanks for the tips on similar watches to Cartier. (Helping to search a graduation gift.) The recent vintage was a hoot. But the older watches stole the show

Absolutly love that Tissot Heritage but good luck getting one anywhere.
Like most on this video, they take time to find. It makes the moment you get one even sweeter!
Thanks for watching
Im actually pleasantly surprised with that Gucci watch.
Haha, what is wrong with us?
Hey seiko 5 snxs series are discontinued how are they still available gor buying in amazon and other online websites ?
Supposedly, NOS (new old stock), which basically means that they are new model not yet sold because they produced many, many of them.
They made loads so a lot of places still have them in stock, although the black ones are running out and the price of those is going up.
I own a Seiko Carib Alba N944-6A30 Quartz Chronograph Watch, but it broke down, and I don't really know why, ANY HELP!?
🔥
Bonne sélection

I like the small look. I'm 6ft3 with a 6.5inch wrist. If it's good enough for Muhammad Ali, it's good enough for me!
@@TopTierTicker 6.5 inch wrist is small. Thats why it works for you. Add another 2 inches and its too small. To each his own.
First
Bro thinks "swiss made" on the dial automatically = quality 💀
Swiss made watches are generally better than non-Swiss made. There's exceptions, of course.
@TopTierTicker sure, but the way you said it makes it sound like that's true 100% of the time
Amazing content bro 💪
Thank you my friend. Appreciate your viewership
