I am neither a West Ham nor a Chelsea fan. But I saw the match. Horrible defence from West Ham. Wan Bisaka playing very advanced and leaving acres of space behind him. West Ham had no defence. Everytime Chelsea advanced into the West Ham half, it seemed they would be scoring. No energy from West Ham. Pathetic and sad.

There was a petition to not get him in that got a fair few signatures, but Sullivan has never really cared what the fans want. It’s why, under his stewardship we have been subjected to BFS, Moyes twice and now JLo. Pragmatic managers. I don’t even know what to say, but you watch Sullivan, these pundits and everyone else put the boots into us for wanting Moyes out now. We just wanted to enjoy our football, something we have been absolutely robbed of for a long time. Remember Sullivan blamed the fans for Pellegrini as well, then that tosspot Simon Jordan started blaming us for it as well.

Dirty shame is more fitting
West ham fan here, people were tired of moyes style of play despite doing well for us. But almost EVERYONE didn’t want lopetegui , there were petitions. People called him the Spanish moyes. I guarentee if moyes and steitden got on well moyes would still be here

We didn't want JLo. And I've had enough of this be careful what you wish for bs. What we got was the equivalent of wishing for a Harley and getting a BMX. We don't want Moyes back, we want a better quality of manager. Lopetagui felt like a step backwards not forwards, I hope he proves me wrong
West Ham don't usually play 5 at the back and for some reason we played with 2 CB (1 DM dropping in) and wing backs today and it obviously didn't work. Using a DM to cover as a CB, meant we left gaps for Chelsea to expose in the middle. We got caught out in the fullback position from pushing up too much.
Most people were bigging West Ham up before the season with their new signings,but i didn't rate their new signings like most seemed too. Mid table i believe they'll get, nothing special going on at West Ham unfortunately for their fans. 😂

Im not a west ham, or Chelsea fan, but people need to calm down a little. Every single season we hear football fans either going way over the top about how good their teams are, or way over the top about how rubbish they are. We all know how much things change throughout the season. Last season spurs thought they had won the league at this point, but then finished fifth, and Newcastle looked odds on to get top after a good start to the league, and smashing PSG at home 4-1 (or whatever it was) but then all the players ended up in the treatment room for the whole season. I always wait until at least xmas before trying to figure out whos going to finish where in the league.

Don't give me this "be careful what you wish for" bullsh1t... why should supporters not want more success for their team!! The problem seems, so far, that the board has replaced Moyes with a Moyes 2.0. The warnings came that he wasn't much different.....looks like they were correct.

Your not just paying what a player is worth. You’re also paying what a player is worth to that club.
Jack Grealish is a decent player.

But he was also the star player at Villa, so you need to pay them to lose him, which turned out to be worth another £50 million.
Caicedo was probably a £30 million player when Brighton sold him.
We didn’t need to let him go, and he was our player of the season.
Liverpool were crazy to offer £70 million over his worth, but Tony Bloom is a stone cold gangster and was like ‘£100 million or no dice!’
Chelsea then lost their marbles and chucked in another £15 mil, just because they knew he loved Chelsea as a boy and they couldn’t stand losing to Liverpool.

he was definitely worth more than 30m, that kind of money is what West Ham payed for Fulkrug and less than Brighton paid for Rutter. He was probably a 70m player from what he had shown, arguably 80-85m based on what he could do in future. Still a drastic overpay but if he plays for Chelsea for 9 years, thats an insane investment. He had a rough probably 5 games to start after a drawn out transfer saga and no pre season, since then he has been nothing short of incredible but his price tag will always overpower whatever he does.
Maybe they could have gotten him for 85/90m had they made that offer early and tied up the transfer but they tried playing the waiting game and it back fired. I highly doubt the owners regret their investment, cos 80m or 110m, regardless, those price are never about making profit on him for Chelsea.
hope all the Moyes out lot are proud of themselves, should been untouchable for what he delivered,... 3 years back to back to back in Europe and a trophy, people soon forget where we have been many times before and their expectations delusional. I hope J-Lo can sort this out and obviously what done is done, we need him to now, and quickly because Brentford away next is gonna be very hard in this current state, then it is another international break.

It was a penalty all day long! How do they now judge fouls by how long someone is touching another player? Riduculous! I only clipped his heals with my boot and he fell over, it was a fraction of a second, oh well, thats ok then, no foul!
