I think that has to do with the idea that when guys day it most of the time is with the goal of gaining something out of you. A date, a phone number, a kiss....complementing is flirting is their book while with girls is mostly something that comes out of pure admiration. There exceptions to the rules of course, i have male friends who complement me to make me feel more confident when we go out and because im gay I tend to tell girls I like why I like them in the form of compliments but yeah.
its a complement for women especially girl groups with a mainly female fan base because they say women can sense the true charms of a woman

I think the reason she looks like a bear is because her face is in the rounder side... and when she smile her eyes literally looks like those animated bear from disney films.
