Mike T - Other side of the ball? Do your homework. Bears held the Vikings, Lions, and Packers in their last matchups to 10, 13, & 17. Now we get a whole year to work with Sweat and a no fly zone secondary. Offense was the biggest issue. Now we got a bomb squad. Bears are competing for the North this year 🐻⬇️
The Packers will be better this year. They were the youngest team in the league last year, and will probably be the youngest again this year. A lot of really good young players and, oh yeah, they have 11 picks in this draft.
All the teams in the North got a LOT better. Even before the 2nd round is picked.
The offense was bad, but ultimately the defense consistently gave up points to end games. Look at the lions and browns losses. If the defense does its job there, we’re probably talking about Justin fields and Maserati Marv

I remember last off season when the team got D.J Moore and J. Fields almost broke the rushing record for a QB the talk was MVP candidate and NFC north champs. After getting blasted by g.b in the home opener reality set in a bit. Now here comes the hype all over. My expectations are whatever results they put on the field. As a Lions fan Im glad we drafted and signed so many DBs because the QBs and WRs in the NFC north are ridiculously good now. I still think the Lions have the best roster in the Division, but everyone got better in the offseason

They were close last year. All the holes are not filled yet, but they should win 8-10 games, even in the best division in football. In 2025 they should be ready for a run like the 80’s again.

@KC-td8um Pack and Bucks got in at 9-8. We were 2 games back and blew some games that should have been won. That's close enough to be disappointed that it didn't happen, but the number 9 pick worked out so I'll take it.
Tannenbaum, as usual doesn’t watch the games. The Bears really match up well against Detroit and Minnesota and only split because of some fluky plays. Otherwise Chicago controlled both teams.
The Bears OL and DL don’t match up against Green Bay, but they have improved their team more than anyone in the division.

The boy has not taken one snap yet in the NFL and already media pundits are making comparison to Mahomes. and declaring him Rookie of the Year. This will lead to disappointment. It always does. When you overlook other prospects you could potentially pass on under the radar players that could possible be better than Caleb. This is why it's important to do your own research as a GM on a player beyond just on the field. Nothing is set in stone. Absolutely nothing. We don't know what those other players from those other teams could possibly turn out to be maybe even better than Caleb. But crowning him to be Rookie of the Year already is absurd
