- I've built my entire UA-cam career around Gymkhana Driving and perfoming stunts in racing games.. The Crew Motorfest have just added Hoonigan to the game and now I get to go crazy all over again :) LOVE IT!!

No. Haven't tried it. Unfortunately got bored with the game months ago. Might have to give it ago tho. As long as you can buy the cars not have to get a platinum level to win them. So of us can never reach that level..

For me it's just TC2 with a mask on top, I don't know others opinion.
Except 'this' update wasn't released in time for it to be counted towards any awards. You can't award a game for something it hasn't yet done.

@@CaseyCollier The entire Hoonigan deal, I feel pretty confident in saying that Hoonigan has a home (if not a better one) on Forza than The Crew by a mile, but Forza wasn't able to make a huge update like this for Hoonigan, ever. Kinda a shame, considering how cool these cars are.

I don't see how this update for The Crew Motorfest is related at all to existing and future updates for Forza Horizon. Yeah, we haven't gotten a new Hoonigan vehicle in Horizon since the rally expansion, but so what? That's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. A lot of people want different kinds of cars and updates. I'm sure if you asked some people, they'd say they want a Hoonigan themed update, but I can almost guarantee that there's even more people who would rather have something else. They'd probably say something like, "we've already got enough Hoonigan cars in the game. We need [insert whatever they want here] instead."

I mean... heck... look at how many people are always commenting under videos asking for a drag racing update.
@@CaseyCollier Tbh I think if they executed it correctly, and it wasn't just a carpack, I'd love it. The Hot Wheels expansion was trash, like usual, and if you instead had done a more grounded Hoonigan update that would've really expanded the map and expanded features /including/ drag racing (think Hoonicorn vs. The World) I think you really would have had a great update no one complained about. Instead, we got stuck with Hot Wheels with a bunch of cars no one will ever use b/c they suck.
One of the coolest Hoonigan Collabs in Racing games history right next to NFS 2015🤩🤩the cars are amazing and the events are really fun
The Evo IX they give you as a playlist reward is my favorite car in this update. I absolutely love the Hoonicorn and all the others, but...I don't know man. Driving the Evo IX has left a very, very special imprint on me, and now I share a very special bond with it
You make it look so easy and so flowing. I have found it easier to drift in this game and that means less frustration. lol. Thanks for the video and I am looking forward to the next one.

I love how the developers made the electric cars sound in this game, my favorites are the Silver Arrow and the Hoonitron... I just wish they could sound like that in real life too...
Because they actually sound, unlike other games, in those you only hear the surroundings pther than your own electric car ( yes, im looking at you FH5 )

Every time I see Motorfest I can’t help but think “Why can’t Forza do this???”. Seriously, look at the amazing car list, the colours, the 3D map that instantly loads. It feels much more modern and fresh than Horizon.

90 bugfixes and small QoL changes were never that much overexaggerated like DJS just did
Maybe a tad on the exaggerated side.. But I was just happy because they finally fixed the Replay Editor controls.
@@DonJoewonSong I don’t really have a problem with that, but you’re selling the game to everyone as a perfect project because it caters so much to your interests. I hope that creative leads in Ivory Tower (same people who brought you TDU2 by the way) will have more freedom and we will have something similar to their prior work, not the unfinished live service/second job kind of game

i finished the new content in less then a day and its all we get for another three months.. so i see why motorfest isnt one of the best games which is sad to me cause i payed another developer 100 bugs to get scammed again lol

Just bought the game a few days ago and its fun. Just started the Hoonigan playlist and its very good. But i have problems with those drift physics. For me it was easier to drift on assetto corsa with my wheel then in this game...

This feels identical to dirt 3
I play grand tourismo and forza. Haven't played this game. In the video it looks like the car weighs literally 50 kilograms (fifty). It's even kind of embarrassing to download this game and try it out

You can turn off assists of course, but dik how is drifting in Dirt 3
Am i the only one who looks at this game physics as some kind new nfs or asfalt at all... For real forza physics looks like a completely different lvl, even though they dont gymkhana as good as this one, but man thay physics simply destroy the way to play this game.

I keep seeing Motorfest getting tons and tons of updates, what about The Crew 2? My pc can't run Motorfest so i'm stuck with 2, i don't like this Ubisoft.

There are not many games like motorfest and Horizon. Yet cant make myself try this, from all the videos I've seen it gives me a plastic feeling. It looks like FH and NFS had an autistic baby (not in a good way). Am I very wrong guys?
Between the 3, this may be the one that represents the automovilistic culture the most, and has the greatest cutscenes & map, the handling is just a matter of geting used to it, FH5 gets boring quickly and its map its a plain empty desert, and in NFS i cant take the drifting physics andi dont like its cartoonish stylrd characters, Motorfest for me its a perfect mix in between
EDIT : this may also have the best sounding cars between the 3 games

It's not perfect at all. This is one of the worst updates in any crew game because IVT doesn't have people to test these updates apparently.. now they said we'll fix it in the coming weeks when it should be fixed within a few days especially for a game with competitive Summits. People will miss out on summit prizes because IVT still can't figure out how to update a game without messing it up.
I know the game is plagued with bugs currently, I've definitely voiced my opinion on those separately to this.. But I'm mainly referring about the Gymkhana Driving/events specifically. They have nailed that. (Everything else not so much)
