    Great video! Whats the importance of the basket sleeves? Would the clutch not fit snugly if not used?

      Thank you for your interest in a product for your Honda Shadow. While we don't currently support this model, we'll let our R&D team know there is interest so they can consider it for future development.

      Thank you for your question. Our install videos deal with the general process of installation and for reference only. You will still need to follow your installation manual and setup sheet, as installation varies by model.
      You can visit our channel and enter the search term "Cable" to see all videos dealing with cable actuated models, such as yours.

    Do you have to drain the oil first?

    • @RekluseMotorSports
      @RekluseMotorSports  2 роки тому

      If you lay the bike on its side, you won't need to drain the oil. If using the bike's center stand then the oil will need to be drained first.

    I’m going to add another ‘thumbs-down’ to your videos.
    I purchased a nearly new BMW F800GS with a Rekluse clutch. I also bought different levers (in attempt to decrease my lever gap for better ‘fit’), and since then, despite viewing your videos multiple times, have not been able to decipher how to get correctly re-adjusted.
    Your online videos & manual appear to lack complete definitions for Free Play Gain and Installed Gap. Wading through things about my 5th time, I now understand those terms well enough and have, (what appears to be) fairly closely set Free Play Gain, but cannot shift into gear (with the clutch pulled), without immediately killing the engine. Meaning I am not disengaging at all.
    I really don’t want to trash can your clutch until I have at least run it a while correctly adjusted, but this is really getting old.

      Does the bike launch forward when you go into gear and then dies? OR dies immediately? maybe your side stand sensor is buggered and needs repair (common problem) Have you made absolutely sure the fact that the clutch is engaging is killing the engine?

      Thanks for the reply. But at this time IDK what steps I may have taken back then, but I did get it correctly adjusted. I now use the bike as a regular manual clutch except 1st gear at stops. For that it works fine. It’s novel, but I have yet to see enough benefit to overcome the cost of install. Lucky me I guess, mine came with the bike.
