      one of Golden Rules is, "Don't do unto others what you don't want others to do unto you". 己所不欲勿施于人
      Most of Chinese people are hospitality. But some are stupid and ignorant, those are not welcome to anywhere. 中国大多数人都是友善的。但也有一小部分人又蠢又无知,是到哪里都不会受欢迎的。

    Dear Syifa, i enjoy your vedio quite alot, it gave ordinary ppl more positive engery to carry on , please ignore those stupid commets made by stupid ppl, they speak irresponsibly and try to discourage you from doing what you want to do, or , at least make you do things their way.
    Yinchuan is located in north west of china, and ppl there are more friendly compare to the chinesel living in costal area, so it should be quite easy to make friends with the local. my suggestion is to find one of your chinese collegue and try to learn some chinese from her, it would be a great way to get invlove into chinese society. your colleague and ppl around her would become more friendly and willing to help and share what they can offer.

Ignore the cyberbully haters or just block them!! Really enjoy your videos, Ms. Syifa. You're an amazing person and best wishes !

    Thank you for making this video and welcome to my home country! China is not English-friendly. But in big cities, like Beijing and Shanghai, it's not very difficult to find somebody who can speak English. I understand you choose to live in Yinchuan city because it's the capital of a muslin province. As a native Mandarin speaker, I'd say it's kind of hard to have a good command of Chinese, but it's not so hard to learn some simple Chinese words for everyday use, which will make your life in China much easier. Hope you enjoy your trip to China!

    Hi! Syifa why don't you learn more about Chinese language while you are still living in China today? by then it will allow you to understand better the culture and the life of the ordinary people there, while you are putting yourself in an environment that speak only one language by then it will force yourself to pick-up that language skill faster and easier, bear in mind that it will be must easier to learn new skill while you are still young, once you are getting older it will be a daunting task to learn Chinese, because Chinese is inherently tough language to master for non native speaker, believed me, Chinese language will become your most valuable asset in the coming years if your bother to take the trouble to learn it now. don't get intimidated.

      No, he never said that. Source? Neil DeGrasse Tyson did talk about Islamic history and the contribution Islam has made to science. They were the conservators of Roman, Greek, Egyptian science in fact. But over time, you got radicals that destroyed it. Christian radicals called Catholicism did the EXACT same thing from 100AD roughly to about 1600's, before the Renaissance period with Galileo. Radical Islam and radical Christians HATE science. That's a fact.
      That's what Dr. Tyson said.
      I studied physics and I know Einstein's field equation. I know who Tyson is. Do you? Do you even know science-history?
      Obviously NOT. And apparently you can't comprehend nor write English well based on your writing.

    Hi Shifa, I read about your story and would just like to say that your courage and sense of adventure is really inspiring. I have recently done solo traveling myself in Japan for 6 weeks and it was the best life-changing experience so far! I joined WWOOF (highly recommended) and it really made me understand the true culture. Before this, I also traveled solo to Singapore. Exploring a new city by yourself really allows you to embrace the culture and feel like a local.
    As a fellow Indonesian, I think solo traveling is uncommon and even odd for our people because of the overly dependant/communal culture. Seeing someone like you makes me happy and motivated to push my boundaries. Wish you all the best for your next adventure!

    Videonya positif, tapi tetap aja ada yang comment negatif dan diskriminatif terhadap ras dan agama. Tetap semangat ya, mbak. Semoga bisa mengubah perspektif masyarakat Indonesia yang salah tentang China (well, since the current political situation in Indonesia is blaming China of controlling the Indonesian Government and about the communist party and all, which I believe is a wrong accusation, and mind you I am not even a supporter of China even though I am a Chinese descendant). Sukses selalu, dan ignore aja komentar negatif yang menyerang agama dan individu.

    Hey i found your channel about a couple of days and i love your videos! I am an Persian Girl and not muslim like the most iranis and persian, but you changed my thinking about islam a lot, alltough i will never be a muslim. Could you make an video about the political situation in indonesia? As well indonesia is a beautiful country, the human rights are not the best, like in my home country after the islamic revolution. I am a big fighter against the death penalty and hear a lot about it in idonesia. It breaks my heart if somebody murders, doesn't matter if it is a single person or a staate. Nobody has the right to killing. I am currently writing a book about the death penalty in iran and usa and i would like to know your opinion about that topic. Specially from the religion perspective, even i am not religion, i can not believe that the islam would support this unhuman penalty. Best wishes from Penang ☺️❤️

      Good luck with your book! However, keep in mind that the death penalty was something very normal in former times which reflects in old books like the thora, bible or the quoran.

    • @anasawitri2678
      @anasawitri2678 6 років тому

      Hey I'm Indonesian 😊 Death penalty that is implemanted in Indonesia has nothing to do with religion. This law is aimed for drug smugglers and terrorist. I'm pretty sure, you've already heard about two australians who got death penalty after they are convicted smuggling heroin in Bali. Actually the place where do you stay now, Malaysia is also implemented death penalty with the same case. So does Singapore and China. Moreover just fyi, Indonesia is not islamic country, only one province that implement "what they call" sharia. The ideology of Indonesia is Pancasila that covers all religions, ethnicities and races. And that's pretty liberal and secular but not completely. We already being multicultural since before the colonialism came to Indonesia. The majority of indonesians are muslim, but that doesnt mean it's islamic country 😊

    諸位同胞,穆斯林國家的女性能獨立走出家門,走出國門,我覺得是件好事。中華文化的同化能力有目共睹,何況我們的傳統也贊成有教無類。印尼排華的慘劇源自盲信,嫉妒和愚昧,既然這位女士看來有足夠的教育背景和學習意願,應該給人一個機會,瞭解中華文明的人越多,過去的悲劇才不會重演,難道開軍艦去殺五十萬當地人,大仇得报,就能阻值這些繼續發生嗎?我不是贊成白左一類思想,而是一些有意志改變自身命運並且願意接受不同文化與信仰的人,應得到善意的對待。

    Being a Muslim comes with a trail and obviously this mean a lot of people will hate on you. But hey that's life, we just got to learn to live with it. So honey don't let the people in comments get to you, they clearly have nothing to do in life but to chat shit about other people. From a certain perspective they're actually quite pitiful xD. Btw mashallah did I ever mention how beautiful you are?? Love from Somalia

NO, it should be, the way they stare at you. Now don't get me wrong, I don't speak Indonesian or Chinese well either.

      religion is a teaching of life, It is a freedom of choice, dont be so ignorant. some choose to do bad but do not mean all is bad. Treat others like you would like others to treat you. Is that not a teaching and do you even have to be christian to practice it?

    • @matklmyusoff6949
      @matklmyusoff6949 7 років тому +1

      you have to do your own search and read and that infect is the 1st verse of the Koran.
      The Koran is the book of revelation by Allah to his messenger Prophet Muhammad (saw) and noted down by his followers and close associates .
      read and be enlightened there's no cause of worry, you can remain as you are and what you want to be.
      for this world, you want freedom of choice , you want Democracy for whatever it's worth, you may want grass for joy and happiness that it can bring, you may seek beauty and good health, knowledge and gainful employment to support your needs and wants.
      that in actual fact is not far from being greedy but that's security and yet, there are many more in life and living that is beyond our grasp.
      so read and be a fair minded person, read books of all religion and be surprised why we need to maintain orderly conduct and observed rules of law of the land, why traditions were established and why there must be a government in one or various forms and why should there be unity of all.
      and being Muslims we are also reminded of all those which are forbidden and things to be avoided unless it is completely essential
      for survival.
      all religion teaches us of being good and if you really believed in yourself and that you are good enough not to believe in God just be yourself, and ..........if you are your parents good child just ask them why did they bring you to this world or did they pick you up from somewhere ?

Why should you leaved Indonesia country, and as a native Indonesia why some of natives Indonesia hates Chinese peranakan of Indonesia? As what we know some of natives really hates Chinese Indonesia because of theirs race and banned Chinese peranakan from political issue. Now, you live in communist country, what do you expected from it? since as what i knew, chinese Indonesia peranakan has long suffer from discrimination based on their culture and religious believes....

      Some people have different goals, and perspective in life. Just because I dont teach in Indonesia, doesn't mean that I dont love my country as much. In fact, by traveling, we all become an ambassador to each of our own country and it does greatly help the world in connecting different people and culture. There are already enough people with interest in teaching in some rural areas in Indonesia, and I really admire them. However, I have different pursuant in life and I dont think it does make me less of an Indonesian.
