Thank you Alan for taking the time to make these videos , I look forward to them every Monday, youre a living legend ,keep up the good work, Indicator is a brilliant label i spent £40 on their recent sale and i watched one of the films i bought last night it was brilliant ,Night has a thousand eyes it was called starring Edward G. Robinson. You cant beat the old films better than the rubbish they churn out nowadays.

Decent releases this week, picked up China o Brien (as usual not available in store at HMV as it’s a Eureka release), Misunderstood (later remade in America starring Gene Hackman), Doberman (great French action movie) and from last weeks releases Gator, also picked up The Beekeeper that came out at the end of the week over in Germany. Great video as usual. (Was tempted with Basket Case but already have the triple bill Blu Ray Steelbook).

Another great K Day wen I first saw the footage of the Lanes Hotel I thought someone was standing there ...then wen you zoomed in realised it was Bogey....was jus reading his net worth wen he passed away was $5m now worth bout $50m in today's terms ....nothing compared to actors these days I wud guess...av a great week Alan take care mate 👍

I doubt you'll be surprised that *Behind Convent Walls* dropped through my letterbox 🤭 (on a Sunday suitably for something obviously religious 🤣)... I'll add it to the naughty list...
*Shape of Night* sounds interesting but I'll wait until the non-Limited one (as I have recently with another _Revalations_ release, quite a few of which are attracting my attention as I don't mind no dub if the film makes it worth the effort).
Lovely _Imprint_ Asia set films and more great _Bogart_ ... I am sure I'll be picking some up for this reason.

Only releases this week for me was Justice league crisis part 2 ( but that came a couple days ago so not counting as this week. And Fear the Walking dead final season. But I got the US Import for that.
So for me - new releases fills like a nothing week ( although post will make up for that I’m sure )

So "Fear of the walking dead" has finished after 8 seasons ? I will satrt collecting them now, i liked the Lennie James character in "The Walking Dead" decent Euro crime movie "The Boss" starring Henry Silva, would it of been better of Indicator to of done a Humphrey Bogart box set ? Would of made sense in my opinion.

Hi Carlos, I’ve found another one of your comments, again UA-cam glitching 😡 yeah I was surprised Fear The Walking Dead had that many seasons, I thought there was only around 4 😮 I think these Bogart films were part of a limited edition box set which has since sold out, so I guess they are putting these out to the masses now (I personally prefer the separate cases, I’m mad I know 🤣) cheers mate, take care👍😃👍
Another terrific video Alan, I love all those Bogart Blu-ray’s I have all of them on DVD and especially “Harder they Fall” is a really good movie and really details the corruption of the boxing scene. Very interesting stuff and as always nice to see the beach front scenery. Take care of my friend be well

Great video once again, Alan and good to see the Lanes hotel and grounds of the Royal Pavilion. As ever, I very much admire your ability to rattle through a synopsis without any pause or umming and aahing (something I’m particularly self conscious of)and the Imprint titles tested your ability to handle all the cast members and you did so effortlessly. Can I ask, do you write and memorize a script before filming? I picked up the Bogart Columbia noir set when I did a big Indicator sale haul last October, and I still haven’t got to them yet! I must do so
Hi Neil, I used to umm and Ahh a lot and got some nasty comments about it (this was in a previous channel) so I decided to try and better myself (and avoid more criticism) and now I research as much as I can and try to watch everything I’m going to talk about and then write bullet points about the film and then a few days before filming, I script everything (for the conclusion) and memorise it….I still make many many mistakes and for this video alone I must have cut out an hour of bloopers 😬 I keep doing it until I know it off by heart…. Yeah the Asian names were an issue but I got there in the end 🤣 hope that answers your question mate, enjoy the rest of your week, take care👍😃👍

Alan correct me if I’m wrong, but the abyss was not released in the UK because it had to be edited and some cuts were required before it got released in the UK. But the convent walls the UK has no problem with that. lol 😂
You’re not wrong Mike, it’s a travesty that The Abyss can’t get past the BBFC…. It’s out on dvd for goodness sakes 🤬 you’ll have to send me you blu-ray portion of your release 🤣
