Hi Nicole. Our lives have so much in common that I just can't stop watching your videos. We are both students in the same year. We both work as UI/UX Designers and video editors part-time while schooling. We both have youtube channels just that I'm now trying to grow my own and post more consistently. We both work so hard and try to increase our income. I hope we get to collaborate on UI/UX gigs and our UA-cam channels. I just love your personality.
Well done! I am impressed by your attitude towards hard work and the awareness and efforts in accumulation. I am sure u will be very successful on day if u keep it up. All the best!
Hi nicole! Thanks for willingly sharing your knowledge on ux and tips on adulting! They've been a great help for me as I'm also looking to become a ux designer when I graduate. I'm curious what are your thoughts on the future of ux in Singapore though? My mentor told me that they're looking to introduce it into the curiculuum in the secondary sch level in the next couple years so do you have any tips on how to differentiate yourself from the rest of the ux designers in the future? :-) sorry abt the long comment!
That’s such an excellent question☺️❤️ In my opinion, I think it’s similar with most skills! If everyone is able to code for example, then what separates the good coders from the great coders? For UI/UX design I love that it’s such a people and user-oriented skill. So besides the technical skills, you also have things like personality and soft skills come into play☺️ So I think one way to differentiate yourself is communication skills, empathy, being able to be inquisitive and ask the right questions, your style of design, attention to detail, etc. Hope this helps!☺️
Hahah indeed! We all do we😂 The thing is, I don’t intend to work a day job for the next 30-40 years of my life, which is why I wanted to start building wealth early☺️ Anyway, I love freelancing as a designer so I’m glad I found something I enjoy doing that also makes money
