as soon as i get in africa my game crashes i have all dlcs and i am only using mods mentioned in video
try using the console commane goto .. so that you can teleport to a town rather than using the ferry . I had the same problem at first

if so make sure that you are not running any mod that clashes with road to africa. otherwise you can also teleportl to a city inside the map
