I was born in 89 and I really like new pop music, but I had never thought about this. Kesha always said that she just wanted to make music to play at parties and everyone can have a good time and there's no deeper meaning besides that. Gen Z has had all this weight of the future just dropped on them and I have so much respect for how well all of you have been managing it, but sometimes it seems like you never got the chance to just be kids and that sucks.

Hahah so funny. Yep, many people usually say life and things were much simpler when they were young. Check out any older music on UA-cam and read the comments. No matter the era people say, "I miss the old days when things were much simpler and the music was good not the crap that's popular today." That's life, lol. Those of your grandparents time said the same thing I would guess, as did people of your parents' age I'm sure, and in the future as will those of your kids and your grandkids. We sometimes think back at our youth with nostalgia and say how great things were, often we even refer to that time as, 'the good old days'. Life seemed simpler, easier and the music better. Although some things may change others stay the same.
@@montyj3993 Es que en realidad yo era fan de Ke$ha desde el 2009 cuando saco: Tik Tok, y en esos tiempos el pop en ingles estaba mucho de moda cuando estaba en secundaria, sonaba en las radios cada rato, y eran para mi los mejores años de mi vida porque todo era diversión ,fiesta ,los viernes eran mis días favoritos ,que de Kesha también era creo y de todos esos artistas, porque eran los ,Fridays' partys, ahora si ves el tiempo hoy en día ya no hay pop en inglés de esos años ,si habrá unos cuantos como: Never really over, You need to calm down, Toó much, News rules ,pero todos esos no son como en esos años es más avanzado con la actualidad . La Kesha de ahora no es Ke$ha es Kesha ,y ya nadie habla de ella por lo que veo ,porque no ha evolucionado .Sus temas : Hymn, Praying, Learn to let go,Here comes the change., R,W,S man, no son pop es algo simple y sun ritmo que da mucha tristeza y depresión ya no es como antes alegre y toda divertida, ahora es mas madura y sería. En conclusión ,Yo pienso que como en esos años ella era joven y ahora con el pasar del tiempo ha madurado ,yo también ahora tengo 20 pero veo que he cambiado en algo y antes era muy alegre y en fin uno madura con el pasar de los años . Had a girlfriend who shared a love for Kesha with me. This song brings back so many memories with her. We weren’t officially boyfriend and girlfriend but she was such a nice girl, and we did a lot together, I can’t believe this was all 12 years ago now. Feels painful to know that in 8 more years this will be 2 decades old 😢
