If you do actually plan on returning to the game, have a quick look around the menus. You missed a lot of really good features that will make you enjoy your time even more. Once you get your head around them, it becomes very rhythmic & procedural.

in quali when you added fuel as they couldn’t go out you were giving them extra laps instead of the minimum required which hampered the weight, also you didn’t stick them on new tyres and they were reusing sets of tyres constantly
Basically you don’t need to add additional fuel - just press confirm and it should let you send them out - and yes don’t continuously make them re use the same tyres unless it’s needed or some tactic 🤷♂️
Since you mentioned it a few times in the video would love to see some fm content in the future, maybe when fm25 comes out since it’s supposed to be a whole different game
A few pointers if you plan on returning. When designing a new car part you will need to allocate CFD and wind tunnel hours, you then need to allocate engineers. During a race, on race start get them to push hard on tyres and on fuel for a few laps and then go back to balanced after, this helps stay with the cars ahead. Also, you can instruct drivers to either hold up traffic behind or not to fight with your teammate if you think the driver behind is faster than your driver ahead, I think this is on the tactics section of your drivers HUD.
Just some information for you Josh: - You can not change the car setup once you start with qualifying because of parc ferme, only the front wing. - Just play around with the settings to try to get all elements in the blue. - In qualifying always aim to use a new set on the second stint you do. So once you have set a lap time then change the tyre set to a fresh new one. Older used ones will suffer from lap time. Hope this will help you :D
As someone who plays this game loads I'm glad it's getting the attention it deserves. It's really well made and a lot more than you ask for from an F1 manager game. This is gonna be both painful and very fun to watch.

I like that you can take over to "manual control" for the drivers. So even if you dont continue F1 driving, you can do so here in F1 Manager.
