I heard that after going to Mathura, Krishna never returned to Vrindavan. How sad was it for the Vrindavanwaasis to farewell Krishna, after all the days and years with them in his childhood, especially, Radha, Yashoda and all of Krishna's friends. Did they ever know that they won't get to see Krishna again? Krishna did promise to Radha that he'd come back soon, but it was only to comfort her, he knew it's never gonna happen. How sad!
