Lelila stops by and we talk over some of what the Witness told me. And she has some interesting things to share with me... The time for secrets is gone. It's getting pretty serious on the Edge.

So the Witness really did claim to just be worried about the shards because EWF was still around at that point...
EWF was the one who said the shards are needed for the world to reach fulfilment? Or the Witness? Because it sounded like you said that was something EWF said, and back when he was pretending to be Welder? (I can't remember if this is a conversation that's happened in an episode lol)
Might get worse before it gets better but the shards would still ultimately be good for the world...
Lee: can we know what happens in advance?
Teal: do you know anyone with multiverse knowledge?
(flashback) GPK+BlazeFish: yeah we have some knowledge of what could happen but can't tell you because reasons

lol saying chemical reaction instead of magic ritual, depending on worldbuilding that's the same thing- oh I just remembered, I think Red's castle has magic table things for infusion things or something iirc and also sculk is maybe a thing in the lore because of her or something??? And the Witness didn't like her because of sculk or something??? And she has that egg... the pedestals around the egg, there was something on those but I forget what... was it magic items, or was it player heads? It was one of those two, something concerning...?
If there are cracks in the world, either from damage EWF maybe did or from before that... is fulfilment filling in those cracks and fixing it? Or "fulfilling" the ongoing destruction and making the damage a lot worse?
...The Witness truly believes that the shards are needed to save the world. But... he could be... just wrong. Not lying. Not playing 7D chess... just... stuck in old magic ways and not noticing the things people notice now... lesson learned for Disco that the power of friendship and ordinary people working together is what's really needed, and then... the Witness is going to get to learn that lesson too??? And it's only just now occurred to me that this mysterious, seemingly powerful figure... could just not have as much of the complete picture as he thinks he does. Before, he was scary and a villain and then the Nightmare King was defeated and then it seemed that the Witness was maybe on the side of good after all and had just been corrupted... even acknowledging that the only way for him not to be a villain would be if he'd been manipulated and corrupted in the past, I attributed that to the NK having so much power, not to the Witness not having as much power and knowledge after all... exactly the same as how it might not be such a good thing that the Fishverse and Blazeverse do all the exploring and thinking they've become some all-seeing cosmic club... the Order of the Witness could be exactly the same, Kyp, Herobrine, EWF, Welder Prime, BlazeFish, GPK, no-one has the complete picture, even those standing on high, smiling down at the explorers who reach the edge of the map and revealing "there is so much more to reality than you knew" and all that - they too then also have to look up and realise there's so much more than even they know, and so on and so on forever!!! :D :D :D

It was tense in her episode, but now it's kind of funny too, how much you went on about honesty before Lee revealed her own secrets! To be fair, it did seem sudden how you went from maybe only trusting the Witness to realising honesty is better etc, I wasn't expecting the vital moment of trust to appear so easily either! Friendship will defeat paranoia!! :D
Also I love how the sandwich happens to be a good replacement for the final shard colour-wise lol, I wonder if there's anything in how the shards are grey-teal, purple-with-a-bit-of-cyan-etc, sculky, and golden-green(I think it looks like a field of crops, rather than a totem of undying?)... sky, cave, deep, and overworld... like four layers of the world somehow, if the "overworld" is like the surface, and caves and deeps are separate for some reason... cave specifically amethyst geode opposed to larger cavern of sculk in the deep? Or maybe the difference between caves in mountains or under mountains? And the sky is dark, like a storm... like Sky the sky kraken maybe??? What if Deep represents the ocean, not the sculk? idk... (also I can't remember precisely where they were found in earlier episodes lol)
Interesting, does Teal genuinely not remember that time he suspected that GPK was his AU counterpart, or is he still keeping those suspicions to himself since Lee can't say everything about the Blaze Waffle House etc?
The Ember is definitely for creating not destroying, but creation is sometimes destructive so there's no way to know for sure yet... wait, comparing that to reusing recycled parts... next season a fusion of previous lore after the chaos vortex goes wrong??? lol
The Witness mentioned world breaking and ending as well as creating... forces...? At least Teal isn't fully trusting the Witness... interesting idea that all of this could be "far-fetched"... is that just the character preparing to be surprised to see cool stuff that was explained already, or is there maybe something about this that turns out to be... not anti-climactic, but just... different than expected? Even after revealing lore of books of what's supposed to happen with the shards, that's still only part of the story?
LOL the hidden base! The person involved didn't mean to keep it a secret and just forgot about it, it's all okay! XD
