Hello Erin....thank you for all these tutorial....I am stuck with limiting checkboxes to 1 only ....(i have 5 but they can only choose 1 box)....how do i perform that....thank you
Thank you so much for watching! Without writing JavaScript, I don't believe it's possible to limit the checkboxes to only one choice. However, if you use radio buttons instead, your audience will only be able to select one choice. I wish you all the best with your PDF project!
Excellent question! In the past, I would have said no; however, Adobe recently announced an upgrade to the Action Wizard that will allow you to perform the same action on multiple PDFs at once. I haven't had time to experiment with it yet, but here is the link from Adobe's What's New page (this link will only apply to March 2024): helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/whats-new.html.
Hi Erin. Thank you. Will this work for a document that has already has tabs included. I need to make the tabs that I have already created within my document to become hyperlinks to navigate the material.

I'm trying to build an interactive pdf here with buttons linked to different pages, so it might not come in as continuous sequence.
That is an interesting question! You could set the PDF to open directly in full-screen mode so the interface is not visible to your readers. I am planning to a tutorial on that topic, but in the meanwhile, where is an article from Adobe support that you may find helpful: helpx.adobe.com/sign/using/create-document-template.html.

Thank you for watching my video. Rather than using text already in your footer, you may want to try creating the button as shown in this tutorial and positioning it in the footer area. Then, change the properties (remove the background color, border, etc.) so it looks like normal footer text. Best of luck!
When I duplicate the button, the orientation of the button is not correct on pages that have been rotated to landscape. Is there an easy way to change this. I have documents that are over a thousand pages, containing spreadsheets that are rotated to landscape view.
