The X6 5G losing one Android version to the X6 Pro, is poor, as it'll end Android 16, with X6 Pro Android 17. A gaming comparison between X6 Pro and F5 would be interesting. Thank you Adam, as always.
Although most people must have moved past the headphone jack removal with getting tws buds, i could never go that route due to latency while gaming and just does not compete in terms of sound quality from an iem in the same price range that is really noticeable to my ears..Which is also what sold the poco f5 to me. I don't get the argument of using a usb - 3.5 mm dongle as 1) you have to carry it around and might lose it due to its small size. 2) you would have to purchase one, might even worsen the sound quality depending on the dongle you bought 3) could not use your phone as its being charged by powerbank. I would probably just stick with the poco f5 as long as i could until i could find another replacer with the features i need.
The GSM Arena photo comparison tool between the X6 Pro and the X6's main camera at least suggests the cheaper phone to be better with colours and dynamic range. Not sure about the selfie camera. I could be wrong here. Any thoughts?
im still rocking my poco x3 its a solid work horse!, iv had this nearly 3 years now too, just waiting for it to break then ill get a newer poco because this one has been flawless for my needs.
@@carrot6696 honestly I can't speak for them all but I have never had a problem with that on this phone. The only problem o ever had was the phone kept going into reading mode and had a real dull screen, solved by an update and not a massive issue. It's battery is still good too. Real bargain. I bought this when my Samsung phone broke as a kinda cheap solution as the samsung was expensive and didn't want to spend that kinda money again. I'd pick this over that s20 any day much more reliable lol
Call me old school but im a wired headphones fan. Always have, always will. I feel that Poco should maintain the jack on both models. Watching this on my Poco F5 BTW. Love your content, bro. P. S the best part is the standard version can use both wired and wireless earphones. Its a win win situation.
what a detailed comparison you've got there with amazing presentation! well, i wouldnt mind having headphone jack as i got a type-c earphones. secondly, BT 5.4, LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 is a big plus for me as it is future proof and you can find this in a flagship phone into a high end mid range. CG 5.0 is just enough for me to comprise with a low price. id rather go for the x6 pro. I hope it would not end up like a dead boot issues with my poco f2 pro and expecting a stable hyper OS.
Adding a headphone jack to the devices is not going to drain the resources of the organization instead a value addition as user can use both bluetooth and wired headphones .
Forgot to mentioned too that the X6 has a ufs 2.2 which is even lower if compared with X3 pro. Btw, how's the performance if compare this 2 variant (SD 7s gen2 and SD 860)?😅
Bluetooth earphones are already quite affordable nowadays. So it really is dependent on the user if they want to use wired or not. Also cheap bluetooth headphones sometimes has a delay while gaming whereas the cheap wired headphones does not have that problem. On high end though the only difference is wires vs no wires + charging.
Still using my poco f1 that has been through a lot of down from heights with a bunch of fractures on screen, still alive and kicking, tho i will need to retire this phone it has served me for 5yrs already, also its fun to custom mod with it really bringing full potential of the device, too bad i can't do that with dimensity chipsey 😢
It's pointless to remove headphone jack if the phone doesn't come with max ingress protection, iPhone did it so they can be submerged into water for extra minutes, it doesn't even make sense to remove headphone jack from phones with IP 54 rating or less, perhaps on somebody mind,a phone without headphone jack, will look more like an iPhone, as if they're not trying hard enough with those camera lens arrangement😅 Quality video as always, Adam!
And seeing how strong the X6 Pro has out performed last year F5 Pro, makes me wonder how they are gonna sell F6 Pro later this year. Are there any tricks left in the sleeves?
Headphone jack is a thick hardware so removing it allows for phones to be thinner. And no, apple did not remove it to achieve waterproofing. The headphone jack can be made waterproof after all. They removed it so that they can collect a fee from audio manufacturers for their lightning connector.

Hey Adam, great video! I was watching the live launch and was mildly infuriated by the return of the macro cam and low res ultra wide because other phones in their price range have learnt to ditch the macro for nothing or something else. I think the chips are good for their prices but the fact the cheap one has better glass is really confusing and can only be there because they might be trying to capture more of the budget market with extra features because at the moment Xiaomi is really dominating that space. The headphone jack would've been nice but I don't care for it much anymore due to the rise of low latency earphones. Thanks for the info Adam!
@JustMeELC yes in my opinion as it's my comment. But please do enlighten me on what specs is more important in the non pro that makes it better for everyday use then the pro
Just bought the non pro version. Here in sweden ut costs aroung 450 euro if you're lucky Is a lot of taxes. I dont play games so didn't need the pro version, for me is more important with a headphone jack
X3 pro had a cheap cpu glue which melts after 2 years. If you don't use it much it can last 2-3 years though it will start bugging out afterwards. Mine had the same issue, just now after 2 n half years it starts restarting out of nowhere and weird stuff. Shame

It's silly because they often have plenty of room for it too.
That X6 Pro performance is tempting, but I'll stick to the plan of buying 13T for a solid performance with better camera and other small stuff.
