what an awesome collection of history...these 2 dudes deserve some credit re the time and effort put into this - esp the digitizing of the old VHS/tape footage and mags...so cool.
Good on ya dudes! Your coverage of skateboarding is my favorite, keep on schralpin'. If you could scan and post that Action Now binder, that would be rad. Great work.
skate history is the some of the most fascinating . No body knows 100% what went down cause everyone is just living. Its such a unique thing everyone has there own perspective and take on what's good and how things went down. The common thing is want to get down and rip.
We only managed launch ramps although one was a pretty cool, a spine with a mellow and tight side. I wonder if my mum has photos of it. Happy memories.
@@NineHellHeaven if you're on Instagram check out thepastparticle, it's nothing but photos of 70s and mostly 80s local skate crews and their homemade launch ramps, quarters and halpipes and many carpentry disasters.
Tht was my first board Mike McGill Powell I wanted tht gator board so bad when I was a kid along with the big V vision hi tops! Although the airwalks we use to get were pretty dope good ol days
I'm pretty sure that model of the can that says America, happened long before a Budweiser started putting America on their can a year ago. As a board manufacturer, how many times have you guys gotten cease-and-desist notice? I say we send one back for skaters everywhere!!!🤔🤪🤣🤙
Shout-out to Jake Donnelly. Don't see him around as much as I used to. He's had injuries and a kid but he rips and has a badass style. To bad to broke your Olson deck. Lol. He's on real, Adidas, spitfire, thunder. Him and Justin Brock killer one two punch riding for real.
i wanted to collect skateboarding stuff but the stuff im looking for is impossible to find like decks i had when i skated hoax board, blueprint boards, eric koston boards i had 1 that was in tony hawks underground and the blue one i see he use in girl yeah right the blue and white one. and i had the k7 shoes white ones and the pink koston board. impossible to find again unused anyway so yeh. i have a few skateboard dvds 411vm ect

15 year olds across North America built some pretty awful ramps with stolen wood in the 80s but damn if it wasn't fun (minus the slivers).
