Everyone I talk to has no idea who Slipknot is and listen to pop. I asked some of them if they know who Black Sabbath is, they didn't know.
That's easy to say, but it is more common in certain areas. california for example has a large metalhead community. I get what youre saying, i just think you shouldn't assume. Musicians usually listen to a wide variety of music. all genres.
