I guess my "Gift" is Mercy but no one wants me to display it. Strangers, friends, and especially family members dislike my helping and wanting to comfort. Lord, what a mean joke to play on me. Thanks God for giving me a gift that no one wants or appreciates. So, what am I to do with my life when I'm not worthy of giving my Gift?
The gift of mercy is a great spiritual gift. We need people who comfort others during distress. Not every desires comfort, but many people do. That's when you come in. Mercy isn't simply about comforting others, but also celebrating JOY with others achievements and successes. Mercy is about having compassion, empathy and being a safe person for those who need a ear to listen to or for someone to share their excitement and joy. It's used to help the Body of Christ. Don't be discouraged. Don't give up.
This is an amazing gift to have. I have it. And i use to feel like you do, nd id cry at everything nd get so hurt nd offended. But God will train you nd allow u to see who is willing to listen to you by giving you discernment. The only hard thing about the gift of mercy is that we tend to take everything to heart. There are times people come to me for money . I enjoy giving when I have what they need. I also may be a proclaimer . Some people come to me about God , and I tell them what God says. I hope that God give me the discernment of spirits . I could use that one because I don't know who to trust at times . I meet people who like to use me . Do you have advice on how to get discerning of spirits ?

I just want to say that Peter talks about the gift of speaking. And I just want to also add, listen to this man. He has wisdom of God, without doubt. Now take a look at the baptism Jesus spoke of and look at 1 Corinthians 12. Do you see some similarities? Jesus said to baptize the disciples they would make in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
God the Father is operating through all, the Son Jesus gives administrations, and the Spirit of God gives manifestations to profit with all in the body and outside
