It's not impossible to get the bag and move away from your situation to focus on music. At some point they have to offer their fans more than street cred, most people just want fire music. You can give fans that from the middle of the desert when you've got money.
I know there is been loses (death and jail) for both sides but I'm glad that most of these young men from both sides have been able to change their lives for the better. If you look back at the guys from the Chicago drill scene when it blew up back in 2011-2012, most of those guys are dead and very few have success stories

I’m a long standing fan of trap lore ross’s documentation of the rap culture. I suspect it won’t be too much longer before he gets a big time deal of some sorts from some company to do what he does on a bigger more mainstream level. Also I’m happy for 22gs. He’s my personal favorite from Brooklyn drill I thought “Suburban” was genius. I’m glad he seems to be in a better situation a few years later.
