Next time, cut out the whole flat shape and fold it to shape rather than individual sides. Faster, less joins, better final shape. :)

If I did ot that way I would need a rather large ruler though.
This i can measure up with a small ruler
@@skylark1848 You can still use a small ruler, the sides you need to cut remain the same length

Loved this! The idea of creating these 3d shapes is superb, I'm sure this is some type of origami like snapology. Sure this can be done with acrylic sheet and led strips to create beautiful lamps... 😍

Very brilliant idea, if you could insert cling film before pouring the cement. You could separate the cardboard easily.

If you use coroplast instead of regular cardboard, you can cut the mold as a single piece and not cut all the way through to use the inner skin as a durable hinge, and reuse the molds, as they are waterproof.
