I attended their concert the only time Suede played in Brazil and I cried my eyes out. This live version of "He's gone" gives me goosebumps everytime. Suede is one of favourite bands!
Oh the love for your lost loved ones. As put it in words, emptiness and the crying inside. I miss my dear dear friend as He misses His. But no boundaries can keep them away. Not if... You carry them with you all along. I believe they stay close. I have faith in Love that's above this all. This song and video... Thank you Suede, thank You Brett.
Brett!!… suede!…. this is just incredibly powerful, and so beautiful. Absolutely one of my favorites I’ve seen so far. Very, deeply sorry for your loss. XOX from a West Coast (US) fan of 28 yrs.
Am I the only one who can't stand most bands from the early 2000s - 2010s? I absolutely hated all the popular alternative music ie - Linkin Park, System of a Down, Staind, Limp Bizkit, Tool, the White Stripes, Fuel, Avenged Sevenfold, Chevelle, Disturbed, Drowning Pool, AFI, Evanescence, My Chemical Romance, Franz Ferdinand, the Postal Service, Hatebreed, Taking Back Sunday, Asking Alexandria, Black Veil Brides, Vampire Weekend, Panic! At the Disco, Suicidal Tendencies, Sum 41, Death Cab for Cutie, Sublime, Twenty One Pilots, Dubstep, Theory of a Deadman, Lamb of God, Breaking Benjamin, Coldplay, My Dying Bride, Dream Theater, Imagine Dragons, Thursday, Meshuggah, Slipknot, 3 Doors Down, Every time I Die, Social Distortion, Queens of the Stone Age, Arcade Fire, Jimmy Eat World, HIM, Stone Sour, Soul Asylum, Twisted Method, The Distillers, Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs and so many more. Honestly, I think the late 2000s to the 2010s was the worst years for music.
I was in the audience for this performance. I will never forget it.
great !!! maybe the greatest and deeply felt ballad from suede

This was an amazing gig, but this song stands out for me. Such a very sad and beautiful song.
