I was an 80s kid, but I never got the opportunity to play Chrono Trigger... until yesterday! Oh man, I'm loving it so much. Just a wonderfully executed experience and one of the best in the JRPG genre. I completed FF6 for the first time a couple years ago, but I won't know my preference for favorite SNES JRPG until I finish Chrono Trigger... although... I really do love Super Mario RPG too!
It is such a hard question. Both are wonderful games and have very cool stories. I have to say Chrono trigger time travel and double and triple techniques were only done once (really done well). However, ff6 (ff3) had an ingenious story Kefka and destroying the world! Lavos seemed like just a tool but Kefka did way so much damage and Kefka was a complete psychopath with no feelings.
Love it. I love both games and both are in my top five favorite games, but I personally give the ever so slight edge to Chrono Trigger. The time traveling element and the score makes such an impact on me. Even the iconic clock sound when you start the game up is amazing. The subtle things.
Great video, mate. I hope you go through a smooth and fun channel growth adventure. Exactly the very same set of words as this video's title is what I've put down into the search bar. Thank you for your work. Have not heard "genre" in this form of pronunciation before though, interesting :)
Great video! I love them both but of the two id say chrono trigger is better. The battle system was so considerably supeiror alone. The traveling through time part was more memeorable as wellm to each they own though.
Because I love them both I cannot decide which one is better (both are so great) and such wonderful stories. Both tell you when you try to help others (Kefka and the floating content) and awaking Lavos (End of ocean place) things are made 100% times worse. So glad I played both of these games!
Personally I'll take them both, though FF6 Is far superior and anyone who thinks different is objectively wrong, and dare I say a bad and terrible person...
@@R1SKYB1Z Chrono trigger is the best jrpg for all the time, Even if you put all of Final Fantasy together, they don't come close to Chrono Trigger's ankles

The best ever is Geck Enter The Greco Rpg, followed by Pokemon Chan the 4chan edition of Leaf Green

@@chanheosican6636 Chrono Triggers Double and Triple Techs only used once? Phantasy Star 4 on the Sega Genesis used them too and a year or two earlier

Both masterpieces, but when placed side by side, FF6 just looks longer, deeper, and more sophisticated.
Nothing sucks more than clearly putting a lot of time into something and getting barely any views or likes so here's a view and a like
lol I appreciate that thanks.
Wow ! This is very interesting ! Very unique too !

Final Fantasy VI is by far better than Chrono Trigger.
cool vid
Thank you!

Chrono Trigger > FF6 and your bad for saying I could be terrible.
@@khronosschoty Super Mario RPG FTW
@@khronosschotytrue. Still prefer CT over FF6. Abilities are simple and not too many as well as the characters.
