Security guards are only there to observe and report and be a visual deterrence. They don't try to physically stop people from stealing, especially since it's generally nothing to a large store. It's just factored into the typical expenses. To get into a fight over an item is ridiculous, especially when they're not even involved. I understand wanting to be the good guy who does something, but that only makes sense in very rare circumstances. Generally it makes the situation more confusing and needlessly dangerous.

Prank idea. Go to a car dealer to look at a new car. When one goes on a test drive, 5 min later the other goes to say they lost their salesmen and and that they have an emergency and need to leave. Take the car you were going to “trade in” leave and when they get back from the test drive everyone will be at a total loss. Plus they “lost” your car.

@@XTR02 its part of security guidelines that you never escalate a situation or raise your voice as it could result in a heated situation police must be called if they don't listen, but even out is also in the wrong for identifying as a security officer to a security officer which is impersonating, long story short that woman could have managed the situation better.
It's possible that not everything recorded was shown. How can you be certain that the police weren't called? I believe she handled the situation quite well, considering that no one else seemed to be taking any action.@@danieltaylor3539

@@Sputz3 As much as I love these guys, the smart thing to do would have been to consult the team or mall before attempting the prank. They already have a portfolio of their entire channel indicating their pranks are harmless so chances are they would be okay to do it. Not doing so and impersonating a guard or officer definitely leads to problems.
