I have a WPG, who was a jumper too. Good job. My WPG pants often because they are very energetic, and get warm pretty fast. I thought the panting when he was on the bed seemed normal.
Absolute shame on that owner. These dogs are meant to be trained and given a job. Not a dog you can put in the backyard and expect not to tear up the whole yard house etc. They need to get out and run a 200 acre grassland before they retire to the couch. I don't understand why people get versatile hunting breeds just as pets. Blows my mind! Get a damn Bichon
bogieboog Oh please, stop with the elitism. I'm considering getting one because I want a high energy dog that I can do other types of dog sports with (urban mushing, disc dogging, etc). As long as active dogs are kept busy, they'll be happy enough without doing the specific task they were bred for.
Cody Stewart The point being made here is that the owner has had this dog for 5 months (assuming he got it at 2 months), and during all that time, has not even bothered to teach a proper sit when outdoors. You cannot tell me that someone who can't even be bothered to teach a dog to sit, is spending all this time thinking of puzzles and brain games for their dog.
I want one as an athletic family dog we have a smallish farm and own a big field so I might be in luck but yes it is cruel to keep a dog like that in a small house in a niehbur hood
I'm absolutely not being an elitist. But I would consider another high energy dog. And I absolutely disagree! Your dog will be a hunter. Period. He will point and want to hunt. Period. During your activities he will point. At least my friend's does going for a walk. He'll get a little side tracked wanting to HUNT. I'm sorry but how do you know the griffon will be happy enough not doing the specific task they were bred for? Have you ever owned one?
I rarely ever post anything negative; however, he seems to not be so happy and quiet anxious, his rapid breathing, the slight whine, too. Is it just me? This can't be normal?
That's the gift pup they jump for two years!!
This is awesome. Wow! Nice job!
Is Twix trained to bite you if you start spending money in bass pro? That’s the dog for me. Nice work with him.
Before I click on the thumbs up or the thumbs down I need to know one thing....
....is that a “Left Twix” or a “Right Twix?”

What a nice DOGGY
You did a great job in two weeks time!! Do you feel the bread helped as they are a smart breed of dog or is it your talented training skills :-)
Great job btw!
Amazing!!!

Seriously a good breeder wouldn't sell a griff to a non hunter.

Who is this women training the dog, hard to pay attention.. she is beautiful
You have little to no idea how to train a dog let alone a griffon and yes we have had several
This is a total self-promoting commercial that gives you no advice whatsoever.👎🏽
You just made a the 4x4 of hunting dogs. In to some pansy that lives in the city. Poorly done korthals would be very unhappy with what you have done.
