Hey Daron, thanks for the updated video. I am curious about how you get all XLR into just 1 camera for audio/video sync. since most podcast studio have a Rodecaster Pro linked to the Atem. Thanks!
Hey! Thanks for watching. I have two XLR Handle Units from Sony. It connects via the hotshoe. If you have other brands, they make third party units that fit and do the same thing. I decided eliminating that step with the rodecaster would make it that much easier.
@@TheDaronPacheco Thanks :-) Also, in terms of cameras and angles, you only use the FX30 with the Sigma 30mm F1.4? I am looking to get 3 cameras: 2 for close up shots (particularly important for social media content) and 1 for wide angle. I believe the FX30 is the best option for close up shots, but what about the wide angle camera? Do you advise anything particular? I am in the process of setting up a studio in East Africa.
Who wants to start a podcast?
It's great to see other podcast studios in Texas! Keep it up!
Absolutely, y'all too!

@ thanks for your reply. Do you still get to have the recordings of each audio track separately?
@@TheJibssseach camera sends two separate audio tracks to the switcher (Right & Left).
We then split it in post!

@ that’s awesome man! I use the sigma 16mm for my wide shots. After the crop it’s around that 24mm mark. Great for full set shots!
