Lin played a limited number of minutes for a few reasons: 1. he didn't want to play a back-to-back-to-back series of games which would only exhaust him. 2. he felt like other people besides himself should be in the spotlight, so he didn't want to be the center piece of the game.
Lin saved the NBA this season. I was barely following it this year until Linsanity started. Now, even when he's not in the news, I'm checkin' on standings and scores, etc.
