Its not everyone's cup of tea but I like his edginess play. He's so unhinged and out of pocket, it's adorably dorky. It's obvious he was just joking around, it's ashame that people disliked him because they thought he was serious.

Legatus-Fulgur was definitely a lot to take in, but I enjoyed their silly banter lmao. I _wasn't_ too interested at first because he presented himself as too edgy for my tastes, but he might be my Noctyx favorite now lmao. Totally worth waiting for not-too-edgy-cyborg stream. Fuu-chan's a surprisingly warm and wholesome boi so far.

I've watched several vtubers who finally broke character after months, maybe a year after debut. But this is the first time I saw a character created exactly to be broken from the get go. Amazing.

Tbh, this is a really creative take on Vtuber lore. Faking your lore on debut and revealing it later on streams for a fun surprise for the fans. Ik that in Niji JP branch, there are livers who also have "false lore" and the "true lore" gets unraveled in later streams. But Fulgur's approach is still different because it's more of a comedic reveal.

I didn't like Fulgur at first bcuz of that huge focus on being Vox's rival, but this just breaks that idea I had of a 2D Lancer character. So, so, so so happy that Fulgur's more than just Vox's two dimensional rival character, plus it HEAVILY builds up the lore between the two, not just his own character, but Vox's, and I absolutely ADORE that.
This clip just srsly redeemed Fulgur to me and I am so happy it exists.

same here but it was mainly the voice for me, after listening for a minute it sounded a bit forced, i like his natural voice SO much more, and the chuuni character is hilarious, reminds me of diablo from how not to summon a demon lord
@@alkali9249 You're right, it's fiction, and yes, the two fucking around with each other is obviously an act, but as a character, leaning too hard into your rivalry with another character tends to make you look less good than if you can stand up on your own.
The 2.0 stream was satisfying in that it showed that Fulgur can stand on his own, and be himself. He dropped the voice act, he dropped the Vox-is-my-eternal-rival act, and just acted as himself. Whether or not that was his plan or manager's plan or wtv is not super relevant. What matters is that the character of Fulgur is not bound to the character of Vox.
That, as a character designer, is extremely important, and something that was fucked up by vtubing agencies and the like before, so it would have been a shame if Fulgur would have been forced into the role of a rival, which is bound to not play out as well as some people may think it would.
Fulgur has such a funny gap moe.
As someone who knew his past persona, it was hilarious seeing how everyone mistook him as this emo-edgy fight lover cat when he’s actually the complete opposite like he’s just a huge doggo who loves to fanboy about his interests and make sexual innuendos (lmao), anyway I’m glad he’s being himself now and hopefully people accept and get to love his goofy self ❤️

Most of the people who got butthurt were non-native English speakers who can't comprehend the banters due to cultural differences. Hopefully with his 2.0 Debut where he dropeed basically everything, he will be cleared of those accusations.

Frankly speaking, I really want to an anime of them meeting in the present after mysteriously being time-teleported to the present. And then Fulgur (Genos) Vs Vox (Muzan) off the get-go would be freaking epic. But the epic battle would always be postponed with Fulgur fleeing because Fulgur actually cannot fight and he would always have a perfect excuse not to fight Vox. Let's not forget there is still a major super villain antagonist out there who teleported our unwilling and unwitting heroes in the first place. So it would be an ultimate comedy with them trying to sort out. And we all know who is our "Holmes" in this battle against this "Moriarty". 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Fulgur’s rp voice kinda turned me off at first, no ill feelings bc I do like him but rp voices aren’t my thing, so hearing his normal self was refreshing and he’s honestly my favorite from the fifth wave now (danmei tastes are based)
At first when he had he debut I did not really find him interesting because I don't like the deep and airy voice but when i heard his real voice i immediately knew it was him.im so very glad that he gets the attention and love he deserves he really worked hard for a couple of years too.
I didn't recognize the voice during his debut but after watching this my brain immediatelly went ''wait what I know I have heard this before'' I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought it. and now I'm just happy to hear that voice again.
