    You should have sold this idea to an after market company. This is brilliant and it makes the 90 so much more functional. I would buy one in a second.

    Smart stuff. Top prize for a bit of inventive thinking, maybe it’s been done before but this the only one IVE seen👍. If I did it I’d keep a window near side and go out drivers side but then I’ve got used to glass in mine, and a lot less hassle at T junctions!

    Great idea, you are smart, but if the window was a better glass to be able to clearly see the safety, but you have good ideas, please continue. I am a lot interested in modification of this kind, thank you

    Hey mate, did you mean the width is 1.95 with the flap open? How wide is it? Wonder if there's a comfortable way to do this on both sides for more space. I'm 1.91 so would probably want a little extra wiggle room.

    I wish I could do this to my little Jimny but I'm afraid it's simply not wide enough and the side windows have a weird shape too.

    • @davelock3166
      @davelock3166 4 роки тому

      Oh no, I meant that if you looked at other alternatives, such as a roof tent for example it would cost a packet!!@@Overlandingessentials

    • @Overlandingessentials
      @Overlandingessentials  7 років тому

      +solarbuduk I got tired of people telling me “ you can’t sleep in a 90” like it’s too small and you loose your space. Thanks for watching 👍

    • @solarbuduk

      Alex Ednie I just built my own roof rack shower with an immersion heater and electric pump and everything. Got tired of watching smug ‘money no object’ overlanding channels with off the shelf products and decided to build my own. IMHO that’s what it’s all about. Good on you mate, really enjoy your vids.

    • @Overlandingessentials
      @Overlandingessentials  7 років тому

      +solarbuduk That is exactly my point, there is a couple of big channels giving out advice which is just not really possible for most of us. I was watching dad basically make the gear he needed for going adventuring in his 4x4 because stuff was just not available off the shelf where we was. Not only that it’s kinda cool if you can make as you need type of thing. That’s another point too is that I never knock anyone ideas, if it works fir them then job done. Glad you like them mate again cheers for watching 😊👍

    AND where is the made up bed? , incomplete but clever idea, although should pivot up and extend bed board, no charge..

    • @Overlandingessentials
      @Overlandingessentials  4 роки тому

      Yes you are right, I guess I was impatient to show the idea I had came up with and made the mistake of thinking the very simple bed idea didn’t need to be shown. However thank you once again fir your time to comment and watch. 👍
