This moment right here gives me chills af.. He should have went to Harvey right after that even if he was strong armed by Jessica.. Harvey was his mentor and his best friend, loyal and by his side every single time, even when he had to choose either to fire Mike or leave Pearson.

Wrong, You can see that Harvey its on a Learning climb, like the first episode ( when he threated Jess to leave and take clients ). But this time they have a 3rd part in the middle and its not a " talk " issue anymore... Mike is a big worker in progress when we speak about Harvey growing emotionally. I get you, but IMO was a perfect play from Mike ( keep it Neutral and live to fight another day ).
Harvey was out of line here this whole time and brought mike into this mess, Jessica showed him who was boss he had no right to do what he did

Their office is completely with glasses so anyone can see them arguing, in bathroom it's usually empty so whenever someone is coming you can hear the footsteps so they don't hear your private conversation
I also like to think it’s a power thing to prove in that second that they don’t conform to norms and can do what they want. Look at when they do it, it’s usually when that person has to challenge the other so power is everything.

I love how most times theres an issue between harvey and mike, harvey tells mike something philosophical or what he should've done, but harvey doesnt realize later he is doing what mike did with him and the same thing he said to mike would apply to him lol

He betrayed Jessica after she just slapped someone’s name on the wall (Darby) and even tho he stopped it midway I’m pretty sure he only did that because Mike betrayed him and he didn’t want Jessica to feel the way he felt when Mike did so. I’m only trying to dig deeper into what his actions meant. I’m not siding with either Mike or Harvey
Mike betraying Hervey is so out of character. He is always loyal not only to Harvey but even to Trevor. And we know what Trevor is like. This is just for drama.
Tells you what people are willing to do when faced with prison. For Harvey the stakes were nothing compared to Mike going to prison. This is realistic writing.
Jessica's only huge mistake in the series was asking Harvey to back down and settle with Cameron Denis advising Darvey's client to plead guilty.
Merging with darbee was a huge mistake too, and same with signing that NDA agreement with hardman
This scene is so powerful and intense as it shows how great of a manging parener Jessica is and how she approaces a situatiuon in a well manner.

That’s what makes their self inflicted bullet to the head in the later seasons so confusing. They were flawless in writing great female characters until suddenly they weren’t. Promoting Donna seemed like a social statement and not a sensible narrative decision. Over the seasons they built a portfolio of empowered female characters, any of which they could’ve brought back to receive the promotion. Any of those characters would’ve tracked and made more sense than idiotically giving that storyline to Donna’s character. Literally the only female character in the show who wasn’t qualified and hasn’t earned the position that was just given to her bc of her relationship w/ Harvey and the writers delusional justification that Donna’s appeal wasnt related to her role in the firm and how well she played it. They somehow figured that she’d maintain her appeal after stupidly promoting her over everyone. Should’ve brought back Scottie
Well, I think it's also Harvey's fault. He basically put Mike in the middle of things, Mike is the Trump card of these whole issue. Its either Mike goes to jail but gets Harvey's name on the door, or he sides with Jessica stay free and keeps his job.

Mike got bluffed. Jessica was never gonna send that. I don't understand how he can be Harvey's apprentice and not recognise a master bluff when he sees it.
If Jessica actually filed that motion:
- Harvey would never forgive her and probably quit
- She'd go to prison because she knew about Mike
- Her career as a lawyer and her company are DONE
Her argument was that she was going to lie and say she just found out about it, and if Mike tried to say that she knew, it would be his word against hers, and Cameron Dennis despises people who break the law, so there's no way he would have won. Sure there are flaws, but I don't think Mike thought about that
I can understand why Mike believed the bluff. It wasn’t until the end of the show that Jessica even started to respect Mike. She always thought of him as a liability to the firm. Mike knew that if Harvey didn’t support Mike he would be gone cause Jessica didn’t want the exposure. So it made sense to me why he fell for the bluff.
It wasn’t a bluff. The entire point is that she drafted that document and figured out a way to make it so it looked like she just found out about Mike and fired/reported him. If Mike told Harvey she would have followed thru and possibly got both of them sent to jail. Jessica liked Harvey but she wanted this merger more. She would have thrown em both under the bus

That’s the difference between Jessica and Harvey. Harvey wants to win in a way that means you have no excuses, he wants the world to know that he is the best. Jessica however, will do whatever it takes to win. To her, stabbing someone in the back is a way of showing her own kind of respect. If Jessica beat you fair and square, she never considered you a real opponent.
Not to sound controversial but I do define the two as a true masculine and feminine characters. It’s very similar to Ned Starks attempt to usurp Cersei Lannister. Cersei wins because she not only is ruthless actually wants to be seen as ruthless.
Also when Samantha and Alex were competing, Donna says Alex is the better lawyer, however Samantha was a lot more determined to win.
So, is Jessica a coward? I would say no. Harvey of all people knew who his opponent was, he should’ve expected this.
