How the North West Air Ambulance Charity saved Emma and Lily's life

In 2017, Emma and her three-year-old daughter, Lily, were enjoying a day out together, when a driver lost control of his car - causing life-changing injuries.
Two of our crews were dispatched to the scene to take Emma to Aintree Hospital, and Lily to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital for urgent care.
The wonderful news is that Emma and Lily are recovering, and as a family have raised funds to support our service!
Their story shows both the incredible bravery of Emma and Lily and the enormous impact our crew has on seriously injured patients. It’s all thanks to your donations and support that we continue flying to save lives.
