Currently, I am running a Bash/DB build but I am planning to switch to either Agi/Crit or Spear RK since from what I saw, all of those 3 builds are viable now in pvp unlike before, bash is the only beast for LKs in pvp
Spears are great in PvE via Dragon Breath grind, for field mvps pierce with halberd is still great but using DB in PvP is also okay but will depend on what your role is in your guild. Its good as a defender or for crystal capture but that's it. Either that or a Crit RK which has more versatility but each build always have its downsides. As a DB Build Spear RK in PvP, if you can't kill targets in 1 hit they will just run away and you can't kill fast moving targets with that since it still has casting (even if its instant with some dex) so I deploy those DB build Spear RKs for capturing crystals in WoC or simply defending areas while okay, it wastes Rk's mobility and there are better classes suited for those roles like Warlocks/Genetics, hide classes like GX and Shadow Chasers. Crit RKs are very versatile specially in 5.0 and 6.0 as they offer more than the other two builds while requiring low entry point to start due to cheap armor, cheap cape. If you want to use it for field mvps it can now compete via Victorious Pursuit for last hits, you can still auto attack, its still a viable grinder for non congested areas where DB is better. You offer the best utility for any class in WoC which makes it one of the best because in WoE you can Emp Break, use Crowd Control via Howl, front line via Heart of Steel and Sword Parry, WoC you can kill people via auto attacks + vp, burst mvps, taunt and steal mvps from other guilds, rotate and help capture teams. But if your guild is already strong and only need people for crystal capture a Spear RK works and they do get better in 6.0 due to them getting parry as well.
Can you tell which type to pursue when it comes to ET/BH? Given the fact DB is good on grinding or can you tell its also goon on ET/BH? Ive been doing as DB in both ways because I dont know what path should I took in ET/BH PvP
Exactly how you listed them in order. My main is Royal Guard and based on my experience in running ET with various DPS calls, ranger are still the best when it comes to damage. They can easily kill mvps and deal huge amount of damage.
It depends on where you are going to use them. PVP, PVE, Oracle, BH, Guild battles etc. For PvE yes Rangers have the Edge. for other else, RK and GX will be more useful.

That's a good idea, Orleans Necklace loses only a bit to Orleans Glove when both are on max tier but Orleans glove is just better far down the line as it gives more %matk while Orleans Necklace gives more raw matk which is better early on as we don't have much matk early.
@@chinkeongtan8421 Royal guards are more rare in WoE/WoC and are great for capture parties, they are useless when it comes to breaking enemy emp and bursting mvps in WoC though so each still have their own purpose. Capturing crystals in WoC is not everything and winning WoC without mvp kills or breaking enemy emp requires a vastly superior guild compared to three opposing guild to capture all 3 crystals.

I'd go with crit damage 9.3 because it also adds damage to victorious pursuit. The problem there is it adds no value to the item when sold in Exchange so there is no resell value compared to Sharpblade 2 that you can sell to recoup your investment. The headgear is the Star God Helm Tier1. It adds 10% mdef so it adds damage from Sink or Swim that's why I use it.
Over refine is not needed for RK as we don't benefit from Refine M Atk. So a +6 is the base we need for using the 4th enchant. Also I'd go with Orleans Glove vs EoD any day.

I'd disagree with most of the stuff listed here. It's a bit hard to respond to this as its a bit lengthy that's why we have our own discord server that we include on our video descriptions to answer these kinds of questions. I'll still answer these to the best of my ability. PvE: Auto Attacks Weapon: Holy Avenger (+10 if possible) : race/element/size cards Offhand: Noble Bracer (No upgrades needed) : For free aoe, additional aspd Armor: Beastheart : archer skel star or leadership works(too expensive imo) this is also future proof as it gets a very good upgrade up to 6.0 patch and is insanely cheap to slot and refine Cape: Undershirt/Blueeve : Undershirt if you can max tier(too expensive at 4.0 but gets cheaper to do at 5.0 patch otherwise stick to Blueeve as its cheap to slot Shoes : Rune Boots (no slot needed, basic enchants with matk/mdef/atk works) Accessory1 : FiB : Decent enchant atleast sharpblade1 with good dmg increase Accessory2 : Orleans Glove : Best offensive accessory you can get, if you can't get it with good enchant, a good alternative is Orleans Necklace (only if you can get one with sharp3 or higher) Accessory cards for pve are 2x kobold cards or kobold + gg if you have good enchants with + crit a mandragora seed pet and some luck enchants Headgears: Top : Firmament Horn for Gacha, Yellow Antenna or Cat Ear Beret for basics, Orc Hero Helm needs to be +10 for it to be useful (which is too expensive to matter imo) Mid : Frost Masquerade for Gacha, Monocle if you can (I sold mine as Frost Masq does better) Anything else that provides atk/matk/stats Mouth: Anything else that provides atk/matk/stats

PvE Note: For those that will be utilizing VP meaning they will use these for field mvps not the revenant ones (you can use the same gears but will need to replace noble bracer with rosa bracelet, the cape with ancient cape and a mino card deposit and add ignore def runes, these alone will set you up for 100% ignore def for large monsters)
PvP: Auto Attacks, Survival, Emp break for Siege/WoC emp break focus, crowd control/backline pick off, MvP focus in WoC Weapon: Holy Avenger (+10 if possible) : Hydra or Skel Worker (better so you can assist with medium mvp kills) Mino cards for mvp kill role Offhand: Static Shield (+10 if possible) : Marc card or monster card works Armor: Beastheart : Thara Frog Card : higher tiers provide max hp % is cheap to slot and you need its tiers for crit rate and crit damage (stick to this rather than staunch) Cape: Magic Staunch Cape +10 if you have money/Staunch Cape with Harpy/Raydric card if you have a smaller budget as this allows you to tank those pesky mana traps and arm cannons, even better with Heart of Steel buff Shoes : Staunch Shoes : Ferus Card : enchant it with max hp% Accessory1 : FiB or Matyr Leash (optional and can be swapped) : Decent enchant atleast sharpblade1 with good dmg increase Accessory2 : Orleans Glove Accessory cards for pvp are 1x Kobold (you will lack crit rate without one) and a Horong Headgears: Top : Feather Beret as a starter/Midgard Helm(better) +5 or higher if you can : card can either Rideword card for Int + flat mdef or Gibbet card (when available) for hp and mdef 10% Mid : Goblin Leader Mask Mouth: Spiked Scarf is still the best due to it having 5% damage to demi human/if you can't get one via Exchange, create an alt character in your account and get it to Stalker > craft it as it also unlocks 14 matk for your handbook
Things to note: I don't agree with Angry Snarl as its useless for pve (we don't have any need for ct reducing gear) Spiked scarf will always be the best as it gives both offense and defense EoD : imo is a bad accessory compared to Orleans Glove unless you plan on doing mainly DB DB Build for PvP is nice but it is bad for a lot of reasons: 1. Ivory Lance will do better damage than Holy Avenger even at +4 2. You'd have to invest for more gear that will be outdated and will need to be synthesized when they release like the Staunch Armor, you'd have to invest in EoD with max tier which is way too expensive to do, Angry Snarl just to avoid getting lexed for slow casting I'd stick to the crit build for PvP as it serves its own purpose that no other class can. You can pull mvps, more mobile, can actually tank mvps, can survive better than rangers (while they can dps the same, they die in 1 to 2 ticks from mana traps) have your own recovery (Frenzy) I covered utilizing a crit RK in WoC on another vid which you should definitely check out. Using Dragon Breath in WoC means you can't chase at it can't hit moving targets with increase agi, you are stuck to defending crystals or capturing them which is a role better suited to less mobile characters like Genetics and Warlocks or hidden ones like Shadow Chasers or GX. Guilds may have different strategies in place but imo utilizing crit rks best with one that has good gear should be used with their advantages rather than switch to a different build that requires way bigger investment.

Usually 0 int tyo pag pvp/woe/woc. Maximize agi stat point + parry skill, high vit, mid-high str, enough luk for decent crit rate. Timplahin mo lang dpende sa unlock stat bonuses, enchants and gears mo.
Sc mana trap gets nerfed in 5.0 it will become a forced neutral element skill so magic staunch reduces a lot of its damage and it also gets negated by demi human resistance by the patch. The reason it hits so hard now is because its considered null element instead of neutral and it does not get reduced by demi human resistances like goblin leader mask and thara frog card.

Sir payat , I am lvl 105 RK and my crit dmg only 45k. I have +8 double slotted HA with steam goblin card. But my damage still that low. Do you have any suggestions or advice for me ? So I can reach 100k crit dmg?
you can search google for the overall list of foods you can cook and what ingredients are needed. Cooking them once unlocks the recipe. You do need to cook/taste 90 of them to master it.
You can still use other Atk and damage increasing headgears. Firmament horn is just to increase crit and crit damage. Which you can compensate by using crit items or investing in LUK
For 5.0 it will change if you want to maximize victorious pursuit as you will need max luck for that. I'd go with max luck then higher int with some str to go with it
It still adds damage just not the priority stat. For 5.0 I'd go with max luck for Victorious Pursuit, high int then low to mid str as it still gives a lot for less points allocated. For items focus on those that give matk, int, mdef as they give the best bonus in terms of damage.
I can't really recommend anybody to switch builds as its highly up to you if you prefer the playstyle of being an all rounder rather than be good at a few things.
@@ron2097 The only downside to DB farming is the sp discharge but as long as you can 1 hit mobs and clusters of them, its still the best and cheap way to grind.

for pvp yes as a good alternative to sharpblade. I'd take it if it was tenacity 3 to 4 but mostly 4. Too much of it is a bit bad though as its mostly suited for royal guards.
@@dennislawrence2910 sharpblade has better resellability while crit damage can't be sold(can't be viewed in exchange) Sharpblade also works for other builds aside from crit so go for that unless you don't plan on selling any. Tenacity is great but too much of it is too defensive for it to work on an offensive class.
Weapon cards depends on your budget but you'll definitely need 2x mino cards for large monsters, element/race cards for grinding and other events. In my case I only have 2x mino and 2x skel worker so I only swap between them.
Int gives matk and mdef which both adds damage to auto attacks for Crit rks as shown on the video Int gives higher damage than str with lower total int vs str.
i have like 600+ of those here in global but i already managed to unlock all the atk bonus from food. Was saving it for unlocking more matk and other bonus stats. Never miss buying those every day. Now kinda feel sad i wasted some zeny on it lol
The bonus from enchant blade works only for auto attacks and bash. Sink or swim converts mdef to matk so it works for dragon breath but not other spear skills
Our discord server does host a guest chat for pinoys as well as a separate group chat for those that prefer to talk in english that are either from SEA or Global server.
That's an expensive card and might still work but depends on how the overall build with enchant is for your class. I'd always recommend Kobold card over that as its cheap and helps you get the 100% + crit rate and focus your funds elsewhere.
its the end game build for PvE in ep5, Victorious Pirsuit(reworked) will be the last hitter skill for MVP. 1 things need to know thou, is a very expensive build :D

I agree mahal nga sya, up to now di ko pa napapa tier upgrade ung saken bukod sa t1 kasi mahal but the one I have is something I enchanted and got good stats on it (sharpblade 2 with 3.6% dmg increase) Overall Orleans necklace is okay kasi mura sya pati tier upgrade nya mura. I'd take that if I can get something with sharpblade 2 or higher.
Max Luck for Victorious Pursuit, high int for better auto attack damage, the rest on str. No need for agi if you max Dragon Training but you can add more if you can't reach max aspd without agi.
@@pigzard01 Yes but its not needed as you only need to build Dragon Breath enough to 1 shot mobs for grinding. Most of the time its already overkill even on Niffleheim areas.
Noble bracer still gives good aspd and 12% proc chance for Fallen Star but that's it. Static Shield gets a tier upgrade to tier 4 with 10% mdef bonus when using a +10 Static Shield. mdef = power for crit rks due to Sink or Swim.
Even tho this guide is 9months old its Still keep coming back to this guide paired with the A Catchy tune

Accessory cards for pve are 2x kobold cards or kobold + gg if you have good enchants with + crit a mandragora seed pet and some luck enchants
Headgears:
Top : Firmament Horn for Gacha, Yellow Antenna or Cat Ear Beret for basics, Orc Hero Helm needs to be +10 for it to be useful (which is too expensive to matter imo)
Mid : Frost Masquerade for Gacha, Monocle if you can (I sold mine as Frost Masq does better) Anything else that provides atk/matk/stats
Mouth: Anything else that provides atk/matk/stats
I'll add more notes since its way too long.
PvE Note: For those that will be utilizing VP meaning they will use these for field mvps not the revenant ones (you can use the same gears but will need to replace noble bracer with rosa bracelet, the cape with ancient cape and a mino card deposit and add ignore def runes, these alone will set you up for 100% ignore def for large monsters)
PvP: Auto Attacks, Survival, Emp break for Siege/WoC emp break focus, crowd control/backline pick off, MvP focus in WoC
Weapon: Holy Avenger (+10 if possible) : Hydra or Skel Worker (better so you can assist with medium mvp kills) Mino cards for mvp kill role
Offhand: Static Shield (+10 if possible) : Marc card or monster card works
Armor: Beastheart : Thara Frog Card : higher tiers provide max hp % is cheap to slot and you need its tiers for crit rate and crit damage (stick to this rather than staunch)
Cape: Magic Staunch Cape +10 if you have money/Staunch Cape with Harpy/Raydric card if you have a smaller budget as this allows you to tank those pesky mana traps and arm cannons, even better with Heart of Steel buff
Shoes : Staunch Shoes : Ferus Card : enchant it with max hp%
Accessory1 : FiB or Matyr Leash (optional and can be swapped) : Decent enchant atleast sharpblade1 with good dmg increase
Accessory2 : Orleans Glove
Accessory cards for pvp are 1x Kobold (you will lack crit rate without one) and a Horong
Headgears:
Top : Feather Beret as a starter/Midgard Helm(better) +5 or higher if you can : card can either Rideword card for Int + flat mdef or Gibbet card (when available) for hp and mdef 10%
Mid : Goblin Leader Mask
Mouth: Spiked Scarf is still the best due to it having 5% damage to demi human/if you can't get one via Exchange, create an alt character in your account and get it to Stalker > craft it as it also unlocks 14 matk for your handbook
Things to note:
I don't agree with Angry Snarl as its useless for pve (we don't have any need for ct reducing gear) Spiked scarf will always be the best as it gives both offense and defense
EoD : imo is a bad accessory compared to Orleans Glove unless you plan on doing mainly DB
DB Build for PvP is nice but it is bad for a lot of reasons:
1. Ivory Lance will do better damage than Holy Avenger even at +4
2. You'd have to invest for more gear that will be outdated and will need to be synthesized when they release like the Staunch Armor, you'd have to invest in EoD with max tier which is way too expensive to do, Angry Snarl just to avoid getting lexed for slow casting
I'd stick to the crit build for PvP as it serves its own purpose that no other class can. You can pull mvps, more mobile, can actually tank mvps, can survive better than rangers (while they can dps the same, they die in 1 to 2 ticks from mana traps) have your own recovery (Frenzy) I covered utilizing a crit RK in WoC on another vid which you should definitely check out.
Using Dragon Breath in WoC means you can't chase at it can't hit moving targets with increase agi, you are stuck to defending crystals or capturing them which is a role better suited to less mobile characters like Genetics and Warlocks or hidden ones like Shadow Chasers or GX. Guilds may have different strategies in place but imo utilizing crit rks best with one that has good gear should be used with their advantages rather than switch to a different build that requires way bigger investment.

Usually 0 int tyo pag pvp/woe/woc. Maximize agi stat point + parry skill, high vit, mid-high str, enough luk for decent crit rate. Timplahin mo lang dpende sa unlock stat bonuses, enchants and gears mo.

Sc mana trap gets nerfed in 5.0 it will become a forced neutral element skill so magic staunch reduces a lot of its damage and it also gets negated by demi human resistance by the patch. The reason it hits so hard now is because its considered null element instead of neutral and it does not get reduced by demi human resistances like goblin leader mask and thara frog card.

you can search google for the overall list of foods you can cook and what ingredients are needed. Cooking them once unlocks the recipe. You do need to cook/taste 90 of them to master it.

You can still use other Atk and damage increasing headgears. Firmament horn is just to increase crit and crit damage. Which you can compensate by using crit items or investing in LUK

For 5.0 it will change if you want to maximize victorious pursuit as you will need max luck for that. I'd go with max luck then higher int with some str to go with it

Blueeve is still the cheapest way to go for capes, Undershirt is only better if you can max tier it but its very expensive to do so.

It still adds damage just not the priority stat. For 5.0 I'd go with max luck for Victorious Pursuit, high int then low to mid str as it still gives a lot for less points allocated. For items focus on those that give matk, int, mdef as they give the best bonus in terms of damage.

I can't really recommend anybody to switch builds as its highly up to you if you prefer the playstyle of being an all rounder rather than be good at a few things.

for pvp yes as a good alternative to sharpblade. I'd take it if it was tenacity 3 to 4 but mostly 4. Too much of it is a bit bad though as its mostly suited for royal guards.

@@dennislawrence2910 sharpblade has better resellability while crit damage can't be sold(can't be viewed in exchange) Sharpblade also works for other builds aside from crit so go for that unless you don't plan on selling any. Tenacity is great but too much of it is too defensive for it to work on an offensive class.

payat, what are the best cards for holy avenger?
Weapon cards depends on your budget but you'll definitely need 2x mino cards for large monsters, element/race cards for grinding and other events. In my case I only have 2x mino and 2x skel worker so I only swap between them.

The bonus from enchant blade works only for auto attacks and bash. Sink or swim converts mdef to matk so it works for dragon breath but not other spear skills

That's an expensive card and might still work but depends on how the overall build with enchant is for your class. I'd always recommend Kobold card over that as its cheap and helps you get the 100% + crit rate and focus your funds elsewhere.

I agree mahal nga sya, up to now di ko pa napapa tier upgrade ung saken bukod sa t1 kasi mahal but the one I have is something I enchanted and got good stats on it (sharpblade 2 with 3.6% dmg increase) Overall Orleans necklace is okay kasi mura sya pati tier upgrade nya mura. I'd take that if I can get something with sharpblade 2 or higher.

Noble bracer still gives good aspd and 12% proc chance for Fallen Star but that's it. Static Shield gets a tier upgrade to tier 4 with 10% mdef bonus when using a +10 Static Shield. mdef = power for crit rks due to Sink or Swim.
