After a PTSD-triggered military discharge, Todd Craig inherits a decrepit house on Calber Island, which has been resistant to change and suffers economically. When a storm destroys the bridge to the mainland, leaving Todd stranded with the untrusting locals, strange occurrences begin to unfold, revealing a Viking presence and the discovery of two girls hiding, unfamiliar with modern society.
