This was truly rich. I loved the satire. "White men obviously have an unique access to universal truths. And if you are not represented in the classics then you either don't matter or don't exist." This was too awesome. I was surprised that they put this on TED talks. Most of the time people look down upon satire like some weird plague or something.
Very enjoyable, though they were wrong to suggest that classic theatre was exclusive to white men. China and India, amongst others, have long traditions of theatre and classic plays by historic playwrights. Kalidasa, in India and Tang Xianzu, in China, being two examples of such playwrights.
