Tips you missed - Bring cactus broth in with you it makes it less likely for the drones to target you. Tek boots with Element in them allow you to walk on the old ledge. If you let yourself get hit by the Overseers laser you can use consumables mid air. If on Pc use (RIGHT SHIFT) you hover in air without having to hold the key down. Hope these helped
Ive done the Tek cave successfully two times now. Only the second time did I not have an issue. I took thylas in and a Tek rifle. The rifle can get the purlovia out of the ground and cause knock back damage to everything. Anything that gets close use thyla. However I tried the parachute and grapples and then chest piece strat and was golden lol. Love the videos
I don't know if they patch it, I'm at the Center map now I have finish the island and scorch earth, but nothing agrros on the Deinosuchus "the giant crock" so you can make a single congo line and just walk on passive the entire Tek cave, not even Gigas will agrro on them, if you can't cross a spot you will need to kill those enemies but it's rare that you will have to fight, just don't bring anything else just dinosuchus
Also DO NOT dismount, if some of you dinos got stuck, get the rest to the teleport at the end and return mounted on 1 Deinosuchus but do not dismount even when it looks like there is no enemies near because if something small aggros on you and it gets stuck somewhere everything will aggro now
I tried to do this strategy but instead of a glider suit I used a carcharo to clear the tek cave and once I teleported to the overseer arena I couldn't hit the boss when it transformed into the broodmother. Do you have any idea why did that happen?
@@sweetypredator1067 I've explored the possibility, and you can do some interesting things with the yi ling, but without significantly boosted stats and no cap to weapons, you won't be able to do this to any of the other island bosses. The broodmother, dragon, and megapithecus arena don't have spots you can reach without bringing at least 1 tame to aid you in getting there. At least.. as far as I can tell
@@Boomsmith sad,i was wondering since there are no tame servers.plus the megapithecus arena is already pretty harsh due to cold...i use vanilla states and 10 for beacon drop setting .
Watching this after losing 20 theris with capped saddles and 2 carch with capped saddles and all the other ascendant good stuff we took, took dinos in cave and both carch and half the theris turned invisible and dropped under the path then my mate died trying to get carch back out. The pathing for your dinos on follow is atrocious.
@Boomsmith Do you lose everything you take in if it's not in a dinosaur, I just watched a guy doing this a few months ago and he spawned back in his house with all his stuff except the element he took I think

Tek suit the whole way. Throw a pyro on your shoulder if you are on a cluster.

In ASE the glider skin couldn’t be unlocked on the Island, so I used ghillie set and Archaeopteryx to get through the TEK cave.

can this be done with a high damage compound bow?
You could do it with anything, but shotgun would be the fastest
is possible to do with only the island technology tier ?
You can do it with a parachute or archaeopteryx if you don't have the glider

@mattsmith5421 yes but you can bring a shoulder pet and stick your stuff in it before you ascend
