I love your podcasts so much :) they always make my day. I just finished a Storm Sweater this past winter and it’s one of my favorite makes! Excited for you to finish yours and I think taking the time to fix any issues with it upfront will really pay off ❤
Wow! Great save with your hat! Well done with all your projects. Inspirational😊
I hope Nathan is ready for the great European yarn tour 2024 😂
I'm not even sure if I'm ready yet!!
I'm currently on sleeve island of my off Grid Sweater by ROWS knitwear, and you're helping me get through it :)
This was such a nice video. I have cast-on-itis now, but also the urge to finish a basically done Three Seasons Cardi 🤣
you could also make a slighty sassy v by aimee sher with that gorgeous bfl! it's a fingering v neck shirt with short and 3/4 length sleeve options and it also has a compoudn raglan. i used 2 skeins of fingering for mine and cropped it slightly i believe (or knit to recommended cropped length) and it turned out amazing!
Great suggestion, thank you!!
I am drawn to whimsical patterns sometimes, and just finished a trio of Valentine dog sweaters (cute free pattern) for friends and knitted cactus that will become Cinco de Mayo pincushions. I like to make whimsical stuff but I don't want to own them, so send them out into the world after completion.
I finished my Storm Sweater in late January, I also made it a tad shorter than usual and the fit is perfect. I can’t wait for winter (Southern Hemisphere), so I can wear it. I’ve just swatched for the Birdsong Sweater and plan to cast on tomorrow. I’m beyond excited about it.
I loved hearing you discuss the more difficult or frustrating aspects of knitting and of patterns this episode. Also, poney isn't a reference, it's just pony in french :)
Great podcast as usual ❤️🎈
A nice name would be Spring Spirla Mittens to emphasize that these are on the more light weight/looser gauge : )
i wonder if the george’s sweater is meant to have a slipped stitch selvedge and it’s opting to slip both edge stitches on purl rows instead of first or last of every row? but i think garter is a better bet to prevent curling.
good luck with lasik!! my husband and i both got it done last year and it did wonders for my mental health which was the weirdest benefit to experience. it’s such a quick recovery but be sure to use eye drops generously - this depends on climate but in a dry climate i was using them daily for a couple months. excited for you and your new eyes!
The lakes pullover looks great! You can probably duplicate stitch that tiny hole if you want to reinforce it/it bothers you enough.
Oooooh you are so right, I think I will! Thanks as always for the smart suggestions Myra!
Hello, I enjoy your podcasts, just a suggestion, I weave in my ends as I go, then when I am done, I am done. Makes me happier.
Thank you :) I really should start doing that.
What happened with the Canadian Kal?
Have you tried mosaic crochet or slip stitch mosaic knitting?
I haven't!
I can see your sweater more cropped with split hem, the back being slightly longer
Why don't you give the sweater to your brother and make yourself a new one in a smaller size.
