About 15 or so years ago, while driving in the car with my wife, she casually said "Hey. I want you to listen to a song." And she played this. And after this she played more from this album. And more. And more. And with every one I could feel my heart beat faster, my smile grow wider, the colours in my world grow brighter. When she told my they were all from Hanson, my initial reaction was that terribly reductive "Who? Like, Mmmm-bop Hanson?" I've seen them live three times now. That might not seem like much, but it's more than I've seen any other band live. In fact, it amounts to a full half of all concerts I've attended. 15 or so years ago, Hanson became my favourite band. Underneath was on repeat for months. Today, Hanson remains my favourite band, and Underneath is still a solid gold killer set.
@@DenisRyan You are a great husband! My husband bought me tix to the opening String Theory show in Columbus figuring that we could have a nice weekend away alone. He would bite the bullet and sit through the show. He was so impressed that we went to the Wisconsin State Fair that year then to another String Theory show for my birthday. When the 2 day experience tix were advertised, guess who suggested that we make it another weekend away?? Good on you and my hubby for not just assuming that they hadn't evolved their music since 1997!
What a great guy! It’s always important and sensible to listen to any song openly, without prior judgement. Ive loved Hanson since I was a young teen (mmmbop years). My father was passionate about music and was a music collector, mostly 60’s,70’s and 80’s rock and blues. I worked and saved to buy my first Hanson album, then whatever singles became available, and my father ultimately agreed they were a ‘bloody good band’. He even brought me a few albums up until he died. He really was a connoisseur of music, and gave the thumbs up to Hanson. Not that it really mattered to me at the time, but it does now, 20+ years later. Still adore them and their music.
Hanson fan since 2002 (5 years old) 22 years later still here, listening to their old and new stuff. Taylor is my favorite. Underneath was my big jam in 2006-2009
So guys where did all these extra songs come from? Were these just tracks that didn't make it on the album when it was released? Because I've got every album you guys done and if there's extra tracks I'm definitely interested.
this isn't an extra track, it was like 10 or 11 on underneath.. and the "extra tracks" are just the bonus tracks from before.. i've been looking too and i don't see anything new either.
