With the 3 x 4 pattern system, we will learn to play the following type of carambola.
The 3 x 4 pattern system is mainly used to play double round caroms, also known as 8.
It is played without effect, below the center and hitting¼ ball.
This will make the player ball travel a diagonal of 3 diamonds counted on the short rail, and 4 diamonds counted on the long rail.
If you know the classic system, you will know that this path will allow us to make the carom shown in the image.
This system is a pattern, since the 2 ball can be in any position near the short rail, and the arrival on the fifth rail will always be the corner.
On the screen we see several lines parallel to the base position, and they all allow us to reach the corner after playing 4 bands.
Everything seen above applies when balls 1 and 2 are facing each other.
If the above is not fulfilled, for each tilt diamond between balls 1 and 2, we must apply an effect.
In the graph we have a tilt diamond between balls 1 and 2, and therefore we play with effect one, below the center.
If the inclination between balls 1 and 2 is 2 diamonds, we must apply effect 2 below the center.
In the example shown on the screen, we have 2 tilt diamonds between balls 1 and 2, and therefore we play effect 2, below the center.
When the 3-ball is not in the corner. We can modify the arrival, using effect.
For each effect applied, we will modify the arrival on the second rail, half a diamond. As shown in the picture.
To determine the arrivals in fourth and fifth rail, it is very important to know the classical system.
In this example we use effect 2, and thus we will modify the arrival on the second rail, a diamond, as shown in the image.
According to the classic system, with that path, and using a little speed, we will be able to perform the carom.
Other important patterns that we can use with this same technique are:
One eighth of a ball produces the 3 x 5 pattern.
Half ball, produces the 3 x 3 pattern.
In the diagram shown on the screen, we see an application of the 3 x 5 pattern, which occurs when we take an eighth of a ball.
In this case we have line 60 to 30 of the classic system, which allows us to reach the value 30 on the fourth rail, and thus perform the carom. - Спорт

Cuando la inclinación entre las bolas 1 y 2, es a favor, se puede manejar de la siguiente manera.
1. 1 diamante de inclinación se compensa tomando 1/8 de bola en lugar de 1/4.
2. 1 diamante de inclinación se compensa bajando el efecto 1/2 tip (suela, botana o casquillo).
3. 1 diamante de inclinación, no compensar y asumir la trayectoria que se produce cuando se juega con efecto 1.
