Bro thanks for the video, initially I was thinking in installing a cold air intake, but then I thought that the turbo is the one sucking the air so I was thinking in inatalling a bigger turbo to push more air to the engine, but your video made me realize the amount of work you need to do in order to made your bigger turbo work! Keep it up!
You are throwing some dangerous info out there. Hearing you try to explain spark plugs, not to mention you have no idea what a MAP sensor is for is concerning.
Egr is only active when your cruising and don’t require high power and cools the engine down bu reducing the volumetric efficiency. Correct me if I’m wrong but egr can only help
Great info man, I have a similar setup to you with the CS turbo. I actually don't have the EGR block-off so that's something I need to get to. One thing you forgot I believe: HPFP!
This is probably a stupid question but I'm assuming mods like these will eliminate any factory warranty you may have, right? and would you be able to service your vehicle through the makes' mechanics? Trying to learn more about this kind of stuff so forgive me if I'm asking silly questions.
With the supporting mods mentioned in this video, along w a front mount and upgraded motor mounts, do you think 400whp is possible on 93 pump w/o any type of meth injection system?
Good info, spark plug heat range has nothing to do with spark strength and only the heat dissipation/insulation properties of the plug in terms of heat absorbed by your engine block. This also effects the self cleaning of the spark plug itself, too hot and you'll burn the plug up, too cold and it will not clean properly. I check mine every 1k to see how clean they are and what the ground strap looks like. Otherwise great video.
nice video bro very helpful. im looking at going big turbo within the next year. i have a speed6 bolted and tuned. where are you located? im looking to find some ms guys in Chicago. love your cars sound peace brotha
can you make a video of how to data log for when you have to do stuff for like a stratified tune or any of those types. I haven't done one yet and am curious on how to do them
Thank you Dexter! I guess the only other mod you need now is the Valintine V1 Radar Detector! Great Video, not sure if I'll go big turbo, thinking 300whp might be enough for me. I do appreciate your advice. Bu chance, do you know of any Mazda Car Clubs in the Dallas area? Thanks again....
Im glad you enjoyed it!! As long as you are happy with your car, that is what's important! (But remember, that K04 won't last forever 😉) I would check if there is a NATOR group in your area! I'd be pretty surprised if there wasn't in a city as big as Dallas. Good luck!!!
+WhatsN3xt , True, the k04 will die as hard as I'm pulling it! I see your point for sure, just so much fun things to do with these incredible machines. Thank you for sharing your MS3 path with the community. Blessings Bro!
hi dexter I had a question with you xs power v3 exhaust manifold. I just purchased one and was wondering if you think I should wrap it or ceramic coat it or leave it like it is? I will be running a bnr s4 with it. thanks
Good question! The stock block doesn't necessarily have a horsepower limit, but rather a torque limit (which is normally around 400 lb/ft). Turbos are definitely restricted by horsepower. Every car is a little different though and nothing is ever guaranteed! That's why it is important to work with a certified Pro Tuner as you're going through this process. I hope that was helpful!
very informative video man. only one thing i slightly disagree with, and that is the notion that slotted and/or drilled rotors are an improvement. They can be, but in most instances, it is not the case. honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/why-blank-rotors-better-than-cross-drilled-slotted-1437513/
What's up Dexter. I wanted to know if you got a facebook account so i can ask you some questions about my 07 mazdaspeed 3 and send you some pics if i need some help with anything.
Colder spark? Seriously? It's very obvious someone told you what to do next and you retained that, but you have NO idea what you are talking about. You dont even understand what the map sensor is for. Please stop trying to inform people stuff when you dont even understand half the crap you are saying.
Really liked this vid man....im in the process of rebuilding my 2010 speed. I was thinking of doing the Corksport upgrade and now they have the EWG housing that you can swap out for. I found the little details really helpful man. Thanks for all this
i have a 2012 ms3 never drove a boosted car fell in love with it i just had to buy it. awsome car
Thanks for the video bro! Have a basically full bolt-on(stock turbo) 09, looking to go big turbo soon. Your channel is awesome, keep it up brotha
Much appreciated!!! Thanks for checking out my channel!

Question?? How much horsepower does the "Mazda Speed" seat belt give?
Over 9000
Can I buy a bigger turbo without modifications on pistons injectors camshafts etc....? How do I know if my car can handle it?
just ordered the corksport turbo, 3.5 bar sensor, 3 inch intake and rear engine mount for mynspeed 6
ap1dot988 is that bolt on???

Damn! I’ve never seen that speed around St Pete but I recognized that onramp lol keep up the good vids man

EDIT: realized you mentioned HPFP in your first mods video
4:02 in the background is the car I’m looking to turbo lol

Great video Dexter..
Can I run a BNR s4 without any problems on a stock block?
What's up man great videos. Have a first mazdaspeed 3 I've got a few question that I hope you can answer for me is there a way that I can contact you?
How much power did you end up running? It hold up reliably in the long run? Just got the exact same turbo as the thumbnail (S4 v1)
With the supporting mods mentioned in this video, along w a front mount and upgraded motor mounts, do you think 400whp is possible on 93 pump w/o any type of meth injection system?
My mate is running 305 kw atw with an S3, 23 psi, upgraded TMIC and DP and e85 mix etc.
The real question is how much does the tank top add to this video?

Your tuner will give u direction on what logs to do its really easy

Jose Acosta Marin : Wrapping it never hurts!
Ok thanks!
found you from alex's channel when he drove ur car.. subbed.
Can you post the link to Alex's video? I can't find it.
What kind of blow off do you have? sounds nice recirculated ?
Just curious do you know what the stock block is maxed out to as far as horsepower?
Good question! The stock block doesn't necessarily have a horsepower limit, but rather a torque limit (which is normally around 400 lb/ft). Turbos are definitely restricted by horsepower.

What do you think about tuning out a 017 GT?
Probably should have mentioned injector seals somewhere in there.
We're All Thieves what!!!! that's I was saying. those are pretty key when making more power
