I just watched this again. As a trauma nurse I've seen so much that really touched my heart, but this poor boy brought tears to my eyes. I can't even imagine how much he's suffered. I’d love to know your experience. It sounds like yours was different from most.

I wonder what causes such extreme cases? That can't be normal hormone levels, even for an adolescent. When this series started, I figured the poor kid must have had an allergic reaction to something... 😕
@LairMistress extreme cases of acne in places like Vietman can be traced back to continued exposure to Agent Orange, the pesticide the US used during the Vietnam War. It is still in their environment all of these years later and cause a form of acne called chlorance. Its literally not their fault. Even the best hygiene cannot prevent chlorance.

So .. reading some of the comments, I understand GY's face actually looks better in P17, as it was recorded a week later than the past few videos posted (they're out of sequence). The treatment is working, and transformation is being seen. Thuy's work is impressive .. I hear kindness in her voice, even though I can't understand a word she's saying! ☺
I feel for GY. The poor boy is sucking up the pain for the long-term gain. I see his skin has improved so much since he started his treatment with Thuy. He will likely need microneedling later to even out his skin and boost his collagen later.

I totally get his reaction to treatment around his mouth, poor kid. The whole region between one's nose and upper lip has tons of nerve endings, and is extremely sensitive. I can tell that he's tolerating the pain as well as he possibly can; and I don't judge him during the moments when it gets a bit much for him... ❤️

As I’m watching this, I can’t help but feel so bad for this young man who has two choices and both are painful. 1. Leave his face with the acne and go thru the teasing at school and embarrassment; 2. Stay with Thuy for this very painful treatment. I can’t imagine what he’s going thru. Be brave!

I think he will go through with this to not only feel less embarrassed but also to heal all the infections. I also believe that once Thuy has been able to clear it up and get it under control, she will still need to see him for check-ups to keep from it coming back this bad. I've been doing my best to keep up with his journey and can't imagine how painful this is for him. But I do look forward to the day when he is finished with the really bad stuff, and we can see how happy he will be 😊

I would think that they would give the patients/ clients something for their nerves. I know I watch these videos for the pure interest and satisfaction faction. But I can also empathize and sympathize with the physical and emotional pain. And I know what it’s like to have acne. I was lucky and didn’t have it this severe . But still struggle with accepting my appearance and continue to want to look different and still all these years later feel like some people stare at me due to my insecurities.
He is crying at the end and she still is hurting him badly and talking not even comforting the poor guy. I don’t know how anyone can watch this and thinks she’s so hygienic and does a great job. She never changed that horrible gauge once and she’s wiping his face roughly while spreading more bacteria.

It seems like it's taking a very long time for those antibiotics to work. He has so much infection that there appears to be very little clear skin. This situation really requires a doctor's care. Ultimately so much infection can be dangerous. Has Thuy even considered that fact?
I usually watch these vids with no sound. After reading the comments I turned up the volume on this on & it brought me to tears. This young man is suffering so much. Thuy is trying to be so gentle but I agree, that area under the nose is too sensitive. Yet it has to be done. 😢 keep going Gy.

I tear up watching this poor young guys struggle. He has such a terrible case, unbelievably painful. Even without hearing his pained whimpers I can feel his suffering. I hope he can heal from this trauma and that he thinks it's worth it once his skin clears up. He's in my prayers.
It's too bad he can't go under general anesthesia, so Thuy could pop as deeply as she needs to. I bet it would go ALOT faster if the pain wasn't such a barrier 😢

Each session is only 10-12 minutes…so, it may be just a few days. Also, he may have just started the Accutane, which in very serious cases, like this young man, takes 4-5 months…
So did I. This so-called treatment is not progressi g well at all. As a nurse, I think GY needs a doctor and possibly some new antibiotics. Has Acutane been tried? Is he being prescribed a good topical retinoid?
Dear GY, it’s been a while since I commented. My daughter just had her first baby on Saturday and I am now a Gammy 🥰 Just wanted to say I’m so proud of you because I know this hurts so much! You are being so brave, and it’s ok if you have to let out some exclamations! I am wondering if it is possible for you to have access to a medication that we use here in America. It’s called Accutane and it is a very strong medication that requires supervision because some people may become depressed or have other side effects from it. I used it for 6 months and it is the ONLY thing that cured my cystic acne. Miss Thuy, if you are reading this can you let us know somehow if this is a possibility? I truly believe with Thuy’s extractions (removing the cysts entirely) and that medication, your skin would heal beautifully! I would be willing to donate to you and I’m sure many others would as well. I wish you nothing but the best as always. Don’t lose faith. Cystic acne is painful and hurts emotionally as well because it is covering the beauty of your face. I’ve heard a few dermatologists say “acne is something you manage, not cure.” So yes, he’ll need to be pretty rigorous in whatever cleansing & treatments are recommended to him once this severe state of things has gotten under control. The spa owner-Thuy-works with the pharmacist and doctor to get him the medication(s) he needs now. She will usually have a follow up/maintenance plan for clients to follow. He may find his breakouts to be minimal after he’s past puberty or becomes an adult-physically. Hormones play a very big role in a young person’s acne. I hope he’s able to maintain whatever regimen is effective. That’s often half the battle! ☺️
He is lucky young man. I think she saved his life. If he wasn’t septic, he wasn’t far from it. He was so sick. And looks so much better. I know it’s painful; but he’s able to tolerate much more as time passes and antibiotics work.

This is his 3rd visit to the spa, 05-05-2023. His 6th and last visit was video P25, on 06-06-2023, before he had to return to Taiwan. Not enough time or treatment for full recovery. from this very severe condition when he first arrived. My heart really goes out to this young man and anyone who has experienced extreme acne.
I wonder what causes such extreme cases? That can't be normal hormone levels, even for an adolescent. When this series started, I figured the poor kid must have had an allergic reaction to something... 😕
@LairMistress extreme cases of acne in places like Vietman can be traced back to continued exposure to Agent Orange, the pesticide the US used during the Vietnam War. It is still in their environment all of these years later and cause a form of acne called chlorance. Its literally not their fault. Even the best hygiene cannot prevent chlorance.
Some people have hormones that wacko. And he may live in area that was exposed to Agent Orange.

This video is the first of this series that I've heard Gy make a sound that was more than a gasp. That one must've hurt. He's been so brave during his treatment and is looking better already. Thuy is doing a great job.

So .. reading some of the comments, I understand GY's face actually looks better in P17, as it was recorded a week later than the past few videos posted (they're out of sequence). The treatment is working, and transformation is being seen. Thuy's work is impressive .. I hear kindness in her voice, even though I can't understand a word she's saying! ☺

I feel for GY. The poor boy is sucking up the pain for the long-term gain. I see his skin has improved so much since he started his treatment with Thuy. He will likely need microneedling later to even out his skin and boost his collagen later.

I totally get his reaction to treatment around his mouth, poor kid. The whole region between one's nose and upper lip has tons of nerve endings, and is extremely sensitive. I can tell that he's tolerating the pain as well as he possibly can; and I don't judge him during the moments when it gets a bit much for him... ❤️
I can’t imagine how much that one under his nose which blew in three different directions had to hurt. He’s doing the best he can.

As I’m watching this, I can’t help but feel so bad for this young man who has two choices and both are painful. 1. Leave his face with the acne and go thru the teasing at school and embarrassment; 2. Stay with Thuy for this very painful treatment. I can’t imagine what he’s going thru. Be brave!
l disagree, the only choice for him should be acne specific medication and the ‘facial treatment’ to maintain/control any residue

I think he will go through with this to not only feel less embarrassed but also to heal all the infections. I also believe that once Thuy has been able to clear it up and get it under control, she will still need to see him for check-ups to keep from it coming back this bad. I've been doing my best to keep up with his journey and can't imagine how painful this is for him. But I do look forward to the day when he is finished with the really bad stuff, and we can see how happy he will be 😊

I would think that they would give the patients/ clients something for their nerves. I know I watch these videos for the pure interest and satisfaction faction. But I can also empathize and sympathize with the physical and emotional pain. And I know what it’s like to have acne. I was lucky and didn’t have it this severe . But still struggle with accepting my appearance and continue to want to look different and still all these years later feel like some people stare at me due to my insecurities.

He is crying at the end and she still is hurting him badly and talking not even comforting the poor guy. I don’t know how anyone can watch this and thinks she’s so hygienic and does a great job. She never changed that horrible gauge once and she’s wiping his face roughly while spreading more bacteria.
It is very difficult to hear him in such pain! That poor baby, I hope his skin heals very quickly!!

It seems like it's taking a very long time for those antibiotics to work. He has so much infection that there appears to be very little clear skin. This situation really requires a doctor's care. Ultimately so much infection can be dangerous. Has Thuy even considered that fact?

I usually watch these vids with no sound. After reading the comments I turned up the volume on this on & it brought me to tears. This young man is suffering so much. Thuy is trying to be so gentle but I agree, that area under the nose is too sensitive. Yet it has to be done. 😢 keep going Gy.

I tear up watching this poor young guys struggle. He has such a terrible case, unbelievably painful. Even without hearing his pained whimpers I can feel his suffering. I hope he can heal from this trauma and that he thinks it's worth it once his skin clears up. He's in my prayers.

@@ely5932I think they have to be careful about how many lotions and chemicals they put on him? I have seen it mentioned that he was seeing a dermatologist in his home country that prescribed things that he had a bad reaction to. I wonder if they found an antibiotic yet that he can tolerate?
@@ely5932there absolutely is. Topical anesthetics is common practice by dermatologists. But since she isn’t one and wasn’t trained to use options for patients like this; it’s likely she will continue to torture her clients and make money off it. 😒

I hope Gy knows how much we support him. These videos may be pleasurable for us, but it is clear this has to hurt. We all know how great he will look and feel as his face heals and transforms.
Being GY 21, I thought his face would be a lot better!
Each session is only 10-12 minutes…so, it may be just a few days. Also, he may have just started the Accutane, which in very serious cases, like this young man, takes 4-5 months…

So did I. This so-called treatment is not progressi g well at all. As a nurse, I think GY needs a doctor and possibly some new antibiotics. Has Acutane been tried? Is he being prescribed a good topical retinoid?
Me too. His acne is absolutely terrible.
I doubt he is on anything, it's sad to see because even retinoid alone would have improved him so much.
It's like delivering a baby. The process really sucks, but the end result makes it all worthwhile.

Dear GY, it’s been a while since I commented. My daughter just had her first baby on Saturday and I am now a Gammy 🥰 Just wanted to say I’m so proud of you because I know this hurts so much! You are being so brave, and it’s ok if you have to let out some exclamations! I am wondering if it is possible for you to have access to a medication that we use here in America. It’s called Accutane and it is a very strong medication that requires supervision because some people may become depressed or have other side effects from it. I used it for 6 months and it is the ONLY thing that cured my cystic acne. Miss Thuy, if you are reading this can you let us know somehow if this is a possibility? I truly believe with Thuy’s extractions (removing the cysts entirely) and that medication, your skin would heal beautifully! I would be willing to donate to you and I’m sure many others would as well. I wish you nothing but the best as always. Don’t lose faith. Cystic acne is painful and hurts emotionally as well because it is covering the beauty of your face. How does his skin stay permanently cleared up after she is done with her treatments? It was mentioned they are only in town for 2 months.
i would assume some creams & such & proper care will help.
I’ve heard a few dermatologists say “acne is something you manage, not cure.” So yes, he’ll need to be pretty rigorous in whatever cleansing & treatments are recommended to him once this severe state of things has gotten under control. The spa owner-Thuy-works with the pharmacist and doctor to get him the medication(s) he needs now. She will usually have a follow up/maintenance plan for clients to follow. He may find his breakouts to be minimal after he’s past puberty or becomes an adult-physically. Hormones play a very big role in a young person’s acne. I hope he’s able to maintain whatever regimen is effective. That’s often half the battle! ☺️

He is lucky young man. I think she saved his life. If he wasn’t septic, he wasn’t far from it. He was so sick. And looks so much better. I know it’s painful; but he’s able to tolerate much more as time passes and antibiotics work.

He surpassed Mr Hung!!! He needs a dermatologist but probably can't afford one.
His mum brought him from Taiwan. The dermatologist in his home area gave him meds thst made his condition worse.

Yes Hung has 21 videos, on 8 visits. This is Gy's 3rd visit of 4. They made 6 short videos each visit. I hope we do see the results of 7-8 visits.
I don’t understand why this young man’s face isn’t getting better! She has been working so hard for/with him! There is some difference from when she first started, but gee whiz, shouldn’t there be more improvement? After all, she has been working on his face for sooo longggg!
This is his 3rd visit to the spa, 05-05-2023. His 6th and last visit was video P25, on 06-06-2023, before he had to return to Taiwan. Not enough time or treatment for full recovery. from this very severe condition when he first arrived. (note that the Part numbers are out of order from the actual visit date, which is in the description)
