Good to see the 69s working in old 56 territory - and looking good especially the heritage liveries! Probably more reliable than the 56s were when they were new:-) Fitting that 56031 (Merehead) was one of the Yeoman allocated 56s that were replaced by the UK's first main line EMDs and now it has an EMD engine!
a great video Pete put together superbly top man , i love the 69s and with so many different liveries they all look awesome and with the new 66 engines fitted inside they sound beautifull pulling away , a great allroung conversion matey well captured well done . thanks for sharing #, take care and stay safe a t b Syd👍👍🦮
@sydwoods.woodsendjunction9492 sorry for the late reply mate...... glad you enjoyed it Syd. They have done a cracking job with them. At least another lease of life for classic traction
You have to tip your hat to GBRf. There was no commercial reason to do all the liveries. There must be a few enthusiasts amongst the decision makers. Thanks to them from all the rail enthusiast community. Keep up the good (and popular) work. That goes also to Donny Pete for the videos.
