AJ Hinch continuously scolded his players, as well as break the monitors to try to stop them cheating, but being millionaires they can quite easily afford a computer monitor. what does Hinch hating the video room have anything to do with whether he cheated or not? that makes 0 sense considering the cheating in 2017 was conducted in the hallway between the dugout and clubhouse, and there were no added monitors to their video room. Do you know why other teams were doing the same thing? It’s because other players and coaches from the astros left and continued cheating. And for the record just because MLB didn’t “find any evidence” doesn’t mean they weren’t using them. MLB has been wrapped in scandals before. And at some point they have to protect their own ass for letting this go down right after all the steroid and HGH bullshit. Dude you are DELUSIONAL.

Beltran was with the Yankees right before he went to the Astros in 2017 and went back to the Yankees organization after he left the Astros. He must have brought his cheat sheet over when he joined the Astros and then took it back to the Yankees when he went back to them 🤔🤔🤔. You know he was doing the same thing while he was with them. Yeah, I agree with you. Other teams cheated, including the Yankees. They just haven't been caught. Everyone else may see the Astros championship tainted, but I really don't care what everyone else thinks. The Yankees and the Dodgers frankly didn't play well enough to win in 2017 if you really analyze the games. Bottom line, the title will not be taken away. Get me a second title. Chapman threw 4 straight balls to Springer, the last two were way out of the zone and high fastballs. He then threw two fastballs that were way out of the zone to Altuve. This means Chapman threw 6 straight balls before he threw Altuve a strike. Chapman then throws a perfect slider to Altuve to make the count 2-1, pay attention to the next pitch which is the one Altuve hit for the HR, Chapman hung a slider, it was way up in the zone. What so many fail to mention is that Jake Marisnick was on deck and with 2 outs, Hinch had pinch ran for Brantley earlier in the game. Marisnick was Houston’s worst hitter, why would Boone and Chapman pitch to Altuve knowing this? Chapman lost control and fell behind one of the best hitters in baseball and he paid for it.

So when he's owing, he could be persuaded to lay back or flat out dump in order to sway a sure-thing game. Rose could have eventually pulled a black sox situation once he started owing. Dumb decision on his part but gamblers do like the risks. That's how they end up owing. Weed em out when you catch em.

Just started watching some of your videos because someone mentioned that the dynamic between hitters and pitchers, or, more specifically, the thought processes involved is very similar to my own profession (Poker Player). So I don't know if you'll ever read this Matt but you're exactly right about cheaters not just stopping when they've been successful; they cheat to win and they want to keep winning. I can tell you there are any number of devices used by gamblers/cheats that can are mounted touching the body that send information in any number of ways, heck he could have something as simple as some of the old school machines that just use a series of vibrations to communicate rather complex information, -- to communicate something as simple as 1 of a few possible pitches would be incredibly easy to do. In my world it is used to communicate card information, but it would be so easy to employ these cheating techniques in a baseball game when no one is looking for them. These devices are used in casinos when people are specifically looking for them and often times go undetected,, so doing it in an environment where no one is looking....yeah that's a no brainer.

I live in L.A. Ever since Peter O’Malley sold the Dodgers it hasn’t been the same but I still wanted my hometown team to win the World Series. I’m as disgusted with the Astros as anyone else but if the team was cheating by using buzzers wouldn’t they all know to not rip his shirt off? Or was it a situation where the cheating was confined to a small group of players?
Obviously they can’t now award the World Series trophy to the Dodgers, but they can vacate the result of the ’17 WS, demand the return of the trophy, and confiscate the championship rings from the cheaters who robbed L.A. of the championship we would have enjoyed. That MLB did NONE of those things means, to me, that they’re tacitly condoning the appalling behavior and breach of trust by the Houston Astros and throws EVERYTHING into question.
I read that when the Astros come to Southern California to play the Angels some Dodgers fans are planning to attend those games to voice their displeasure. That’s the exact opposite what EVERY baseball fan should do when the Astros come to town, and what they should do is boycott. What if they played an MLB game and no one came? Baseball won’t do the right thing but fans can. A lot of people love their baseball and don’t wanna give it up, but if they only boycott the Astros they won’t have to. The best statement baseball fans can make is with deafening silence. It’s past time that these pampered, spoiled, entitled athletes get what they deserve, and that’s nothing. We don’t give them our time, our adulation, and especially our money.

He did not say, he was sitting on the fastball. 2) Chapman couldn't get the fastball over and then got the slider over. It was an easy guess to think he would throw another slider and my cousin sitting next to me at that time, predicted he would throw it and Altuve would be waiting for it. 3) He could have cheated, but let's not get the facts wrong.

I've heard many people complain that the Astros players haven't been punished. However, the report describes the scheme as "player-driven". After publicly pointing the finger at the Astros players in this manner, is making them play 81 away games next year perhaps a more severe punishment than a suspension would have been? Imagine the reception they'll get, for example, when they play at Yankee Stadium. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this.

If you noticed he fared well against pitchers he has faced several time and not so well against the new arms or low AB pitchers. Altuve is going to hit .300+ because that is what he does. OK so my question is... What is the time line for him taking his jersey off and putting that ALCS champs t-shirt on? Because if we can track that, then it might give us a better idea. For example, if he went and hid in the dugout or went into the locker room to change shirts, and presumably remove the "buzzer device" then that would be a bigger clue as to something fishy going on. If he changed his shirt in front of everyone on the field then less likely I believe. Thoughts? 🤔

@@biga173rdify No there are not. There are a bunch of UA-cam channels that are speculating based off of a statement made by an unconfirmed twitter account. They even show pictures of Reddick in a tank and say, "look at that, HE even has tape on his chest".... That is clearly not hold anything to his chest, and matches the conffetti that was deployed. This getting stupid.

Chances are it’s not? I think given the evidence and the admissions that have come to to light; chances are it is.
Thanks for a good video and great insight Matt.
