- The Hyatt Regency of Sacramento is currently modernizing all of their elevators!! The parking structure ones needed it the most. One of the four main elevators is in the process of being modernized. As of now, the other elevator in this parking structure is getting modded. TK did a FANTASTIC job modernizing this elevator. The main elevators are going to have touch screen COPs! Last year, I had the chance to meet up with Jeff and we took one last ride on these elevators in their current state. Today, I returned with my friend to see what it looks like now, and I am pretty impressed! This elevator has new call stations, door operator, car doors, COP, and logic. The whole from part of the elevator cab is new as well. The motor is still original, but it is much quieter now. This elevator still starts and stops kind of rough but this is a great mod nevertheless. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

Nice mod! It's kind of crazy realizing how old series 1 elevators are now. The motor sounds original, but quieter.
4 years late and he wasn’t saying it’s an old Series 1. He was saying it’s crazy how old Series 1 elevators are now, if you read the comment more thoroughly

Idk what was wrong with other elevator but if there was nothing wrong I would have kept the original but clean the elevator interior since it looked pretty bad

There’s still a series 1 at UCI Medical Center parking structure but, it’s always feels like it’s low on oil or something

This mod is a bit bog standard but still quite nice. I’m guessing they modded it to make the fixtures vandal-resistant but they should’ve refurbished it if they wanted the fixtures to go vandal resistant. Otherwise I don’t see why they need to mod a series 1 as it doesn’t seem that old

I'm sorry but I prefer the originals. This mod is pretty generic..... The Series 1's were in great condition and the parking ones appear to had been slightly upgraded with new Series 1 buttons and chimes....Just thankful I rode these and filmed these when I did....
