Few updates on the cobra
So the first start attempt is just the joys of having e85 where it may stumble and fall on its face, started right up second attempt. The car made 718whp at 20psi and 21 degrees of timing.
I installed a new front bumper a couple of days ago, the new lip hasn't arrived yet if you notice it looks funny.
The wheels are also a new addition, 18" BCforged LE72
Wrap was removed due to a poor installation
In my other videos, the car likely only had around 580whp/500 tq due to the incorrect size pulleys being on it, without me ever double checking since I purchased it :/ . All fixed now however

Hey Cheng, the blue wrap started bubbling and the installer of the white wrap did not do a good job in general. I may wrap it a different color again soon
@@SneakerDrawings thanks for your reply. How long did it take for the Blue before it bubbled? So with telephone wraps, do you think it’s worth the money? My local place charges $3500 for each wrap.
@@chenghuang4561 blue bubbled about 1.5 years later found headlights. $3500 is fair if the work is very good

The 01 motor is a bit different, comp cams stage 2

Power seems real low for E85 and cams. I'd say you're about 150rwhp lower than where you should be.
Lol if I was making 900 with a 2.8 blower at only 20 lbs... I’d have some serious records :)
718 plus 150 does not equal 900....but you should be around the 850whp range on E85 and cams though. There are 2.3 tvs E85 cobras on stock motors making your power level. You may want to look into switching to a 2.9 whipple to get you where you need to be.
@@racequad9 the car has conservative timing and was heat soaked when tuning due to being summer in Texas at the time. I don’t have any belt slip issues, going to throw a smaller upper on and re tune it this winter. It’s just a street car so I’m not too concerned with numbers or serious racing. 850 is not heard of on a 2.8 with that boost level however.
