@@DeerRiverCraftsman : i have framing, a couple finish, a brad, and a pin nailer…..i’ve never used tape. how does the tape help? btw, why isn’t the fence longer? does jjk make different lengths? another question if you don’t mind, are you using that car jack to raise and lower the router? i really like that the table is extra long. i’m building ne at 36”, but having more table is always useful. yours looks like it’s around 4 feet. nice build.
It looks perfect, nice surface on the drawers and the door. Very, very stable construction. You will have a very long time enjoying it. Thank you for the video, thumbs up for that! Happy New Year! Greetings from Bremen, Germany
As a custom cabinet guy I see things differently that most viewers. I think that putting a edge tape on all edges makes the piece nicer, why not invest in a router lift? The way you bore your doors is functional but a 35mm bore bit on your drill press is much more accurate. Keep at it!
Wow! That build is beautiful! Your videos should have way more views! I'm surprised YT hadn't recommended your channel so far. I've searched all over the Internet and YT for a router table build, your vids didn't show up even on the search results. Try adding hashtags to the video description, it might help. Liked and subbed, will share your vids with my friends.
I was wondering what finish you put on the top. I haven't had a lot of luck with MDF. Set down a coffee mug and I'm sanding out a high spot. Oils don't work and poly is not a good choice if it's going to get gouged. I tried laminate but it wore through the finish very quickly. I'm ready to just get the stuff out of my shop :).
My apologies! The page did error out and said to try again but it did send me a link to the plans. It was rather scary that I thought I had just lost almost $15 dollars (10 pounds) Look forward to putting this to task! (Tried to purchase your plans but it took my money (PayPal) and errored out! )
Hi bud, they are almost ready to post up! If you check back in the next few days, they should be up by the weekend! Many thanks & apologies it's taken a bit longer to get up than I'd like!
Glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed this. You always run a router left to right on your piece. When viewed from above your router bit turns clockwise. By running left to right the bit cutting effectively pulls the router tight into the piece. Run the way you are and you’ll be fighting the bit constantly pushing itself off the piece.
I loved the duct tape trick for the brad nails. That's very clever.
It's a good time saver! cheers

Good stuff. I‘ll get around to building a router table one of these days. I‘ve put it off for 9 years now, haha. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks again Chris, I've plans available on my website for this one if it helps get you going! ;-)
Very clean and clever drawer pull design.

Lovely build but why the short T track, why did you not go the full length of the router??
Hey thanks, and I'll definitely extend it but this track came with the fence - I've got the additional track ready to go now! Thanks again
Fwz
Where did you get the back gate from
The vac port on the fence? Part of the fence kit - if you mean my stable doors/gates then I made them - cheers M

hi bud, I used paste wax on the mdf & osmo polyx (my go to finish!) for everything else - early days but holding up well
Pastewax. Hadn't thought of that. Renewable and waterproof. On my way to the shop!
@@randy-yk1yk hope it works for you bud :-)
Well done, great job 👍 Btw what table saw are you using and what size is your table saw? Thanks
thanks, I use the Axminster Trade AT254SB

Is this meant to put some of us in shame? I did enjoyed watching though and I learnt some tricks. This guy has a ton of tools.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it
I wasn't able to find the plans for this project in your store.

Why the loud and obnoxious music?
obnoxious to some, great to others ;-)
New sub!
thanks very much, welcome!!
I liked the work, but the music was unbearable! 🤦🏾♂️
Thanks for feedback :-)
Wowsa!
Thanks bud :-)
Yes, yes, good soundtrack filming and video composition; but dude, you’re running your router backwards.
thanks very much bud, how so is it running backwards?...cheers

As soon as I hear the Musak noise I switch off I dont watch Videos to listen to have my hearing damaged. Pity, might have been good
thanks for stopping by, feel free to turn that volume down though ;-)
