- I've been obsessing about fem!Winchesters and fem!Castiel (Team Free Will genderswap?) for a while now and I am so happy I finally finished this video :D!! Needless to say I was shamelessly inspired by hundreds of posts on tumblr and most importantly this amazing video by Lisa Barker: • ≡ put you back togeth... . You know, if I hdan't known what SPN is about, if I hadn't known Dean and Sam are guys, if I didn't know the separate actresses, I'd think this is the real show.
This is soo well done! Scenes are really perfect, and the voiceovers! I mean, I don't really understand American accents that well, but what I did understand, was all in place. Truelly, amazing!
In all sinseriousness tho, they mention Dean becoming a woman in 10.5 "Fan Fiction". We've seen Dean as an old man and as a pre-teen. I'm all for a Dean becomes a woman episode. His character would be hilarious done by the right actress.
and don't we forget Dean as a dog...!!
Not to mention that at comic-con one time a fan asked Jensen what Dean's reaction would be if he were suddenly turned into a woman.
I would much rather Jensen be put in drag than an actress taking his place

Barkers video was the first I saw with genderswap Winchesters and it's so fun to watch this idea. These actors/characters are so perfect for Sam and Dean. And I love this so much! The song is really amazing and addictive. And you pulled the story together flawlessly. And Castielle wow I really liked the hell scene ^^ Amazing!

Oh my god this is so awesome. I was just thinking that if they ever make a remake or a supernatural reboot or something like that I would like it to be like this. With the Winchesters and all the main characters gender swapped. It would be real cool tbh, especially because I wouldn’t like to see other male actors as Sam, Dean and Cas.

While this video is very well done, I'd like to point out that the opening sound clip of "Deanna" speaking in time with Dean was taken from our Supernatural GenderSWAP audio project without our knowledge. We would have appreciated you asking permission to use it before doing so.
Oh my god, I'm so sorry, guys. I found the sound clip on a generic website described as "Dean and Sam as girls.mp3" with no indication where it's from or who made it. It was just this one sentence, so it didn't even occur to me that it might be a part of some bigger project. I'm usually careful with fanmade stuff like this. I'll definitely put a link to your webpage in the video description. I also tried to look up the page I downloaded it from, but since I've been working on the video discontinously for a few months, I cannot find it anymore. Looks like it's been taken down already. Again, I'm really sorry for this. From your comment I sense that you would have given me the permission, but if you feel like I shouldn't use the audio track anyway, I could still upload a revised version with Dean original voice only.. Btw. your project seems really interesting! I wonder why I've never heard of it before, especially since I've done an extensive research on tumblr and google for this video. I guess my googling skills really do suck xD.

lol It's no problem that you're using it. No need to change it. It's just that my friend, who does that voice for Deanna, came across this and was flabbergasted to hear herself speaking at the beginning. (It was kind of funny, actually, lol.) We've found other people reuploading eps and clips without crediting and it WAS done on purpose, so we wanted to clarify where it came from just in case.

I have to say I'm really, really impressed by this. Great editing, excellent casting, and well chosen scenes. Well done!
This amazing, seriously great choices of which arcs to focus on, which characters to change, and the editing was good all around! I think, because of the changes in lines and tone in certain spots it almost seems like at some point the story lines could diverge and become a different show, one I would definitely pay to see! The only thing I would say (nitpick) is that Castiel is a gender neutral name, there's no need to change it. Or, I guess there's always the original Angel name (and slightly more feminine sounding) Cassiel. But yeah, this is awesome.
