    Going to add solar to offset AC costs?
    Also is water drainage going to separate contaminates (for environmental purposes)? ie. oil, etc.

    I completely understand saving money with the plumbing, but as a licensed plumber it would have been worth paying for a plumber to tee off the hot/cold of the water heater to get water water to the shop, you could have transitioned to pex and ran drops wherever you needed… biggest problem with using the hose bib is that those are not full pipe size valves, if so in retrospect if multiple machines are being used the demand could be to great for one hose bib feed, if you ever need to change that for your machines, I’d be glad to help

    Detailing is a high end job that requires high end attention. Kids who you pay aren’t going to provide that high level so how do you continue to provide the best if it’s just kids doing it? I am on my own so I can make sure the best possible job ever is done. I would never trust some kids making minimum wage to care as much as I do. So are you sacrificing quality in order to have that place?

    • @MADDETAILING
      @MADDETAILING  Рік тому +2

      What are you talking about kids? Also who makes minimum wage? And sacrificing quality to have this place? You will never grow being on your own. Being a business owner is not just about the work it’s about being able to build a team and scale the company. I’m 25 I started this company when I was 18. My employees make 6 figures a year and have worked beside me the entire time. “These Kids” will produce highly quality results than 98% of the older guys in the industry. You shouldn’t bash something you know nothing about.

    • @Prodriver33
      @Prodriver33 Рік тому +1

      @@MADDETAILING I’ve never seen a detail shop employ anyone other than kids that get minimum wage. I’ve had to fix so many mistakes from inexperienced kids at well known detail shops in the Denver area that I have the view I expressed in my first comment. I would never trust anyone other than myself to do the high end work I produce. And I don’t need to grow and have a shop, I make $600-$1200 a day, That’s more than enough for me.

    • @MADDETAILING
      @MADDETAILING  Рік тому +3

      @@Prodriver33 So you base your comment on what you’ve seen? That’s great. I’ve fixed so many cars from shops with guys doing “professional detailing” for 30-plus years. Age has nothing to do with the quality of work. It has to do with work ethic and practice. And if you are okay with making 600 to 1200 a day, that’s great. But how much do you make when you are sick? Or on vacation? You make 0. If you are the only one running the business, then you are an employee, not a business owner. My company makes 10k a day, and I own multiple other companies that do even more than that. And I will bet “these kids” will produce the same if not higher quality results than you.
