Hi Spencer's Go North! NWC, If possible, could you please do a detailed tour of the product availability at grocery stores in Nain, NL? I would really appreciate it. I'm a teacher and have received an offer for a teaching position at Nain School. My main concern is the availability of Asian spices, foods, and especially halal meat. If these items aren't readily available, could you also explain how people manage to get such items from other locations, like from St. John's, NL, or Quebec to Nain, NL? Thank you!
Sorry I'm not in Nain right now but you're gonna love it there. The school looks really great. It's right downtown and the kid's parents come and get them for lunchtime. The whole town switches to snowmobiles in the winter! Call "Northern" store in Nain, they sell groceries and merchandise. Ask for the Grocery manager, they would be happy to accommodate you in any way possible. I heard they're getting a new airport in town as well? So Go North and go Naine!
