This is straight forward DIY to convert your any old CD player, amplifiers, desktop 2.1 speakers with Bluetooth, FM, USB, SD card reader. You could pick just a simple bluetooth board or one haveing everything such as FM, bluetooth, aux, USB..etc. Though I appreciate the intent of this video to enlighten people to give their old audio systems a second life it is not complete and has some short commings and one would end up frustrated. 1) You could use any of the audio input on the player that is no more in use such as CD player or AV input for the purpose of connecting audio out from bluetooth board 2) You could tap power from onboard 5V IC regulator output (usually 7805) or just use an mobile charger of atleaste 700ma and higher amps depending upon the load connected. 3) The audio ouput from the bluetooth/USB board can be connected to Left and Right channels of system AV input or CD player audio in on the circuit 4) One major issue is you will/may experience annoying humming noise if you connect the audio output wires this way Solution: connect a ceramic or polyster capacitor in series with the audio out cable which should fix the humming noise. I used a 105 polyster capacitor(105= 1000000 = 1mfd and no ploarities) Donot use electrolytic caacitor which has polarities. Lower value capacitor should work too and I haven't tried. I used both simple and cheap bluetooth board and also a similar board with FM, USB, SD card reader as well and the audio quality is quite satisfactory in either case.
Sir kindly do a tutorial on that please... I have one such sony music system but the CD changer is not working anymore because of the unavailability of the belts. But I want to use Bluetooth instead... It will be much appreciated sir if you can help
