I went from doing nothing to CrossFit 5-6 days a week about 6 years ago. All about the coaching. Scaled for years. Didn’t let me touch a barbell for a LONG TIME. DB’s & PVC only. Fell in love. Now RX workouts 5 days a week. 40yo and in the best shape of my life and more importantly feel amazing in mind body and soul. Thank you Glassman, CrossFit and coaches!
Re quarterfinals verification: this is an awesome suggestion. Statistically for every 100 open participants there are 10 quarters qualifiers of which at least 3 first timers. filming 10 intros per workout is a huge time suck and breaks rhythm between heats and adds to the length of the videos,. plus more video to review and harder to find 3-2-1 go for the reviewer. At most gyms, these workouts have to be completed in 2-3 hours time slots between classes . The recordings easily cost you one heat per slot. it actually takes a few years to get proficient at filming these measurement.
Love all things TTT on YT. Great stuff. Raptis is the shit. That Day in the Life was dope af. FANTASTIC stuff Chris. @Max you kick ass bro. True OG. I’m not on IG but the way you explain your thoughts is next level and appreciate your insight. Love the YT podcasts. Always love hearing you speak about CrossFit, mental health, life and whatever else. Keep it it bro👊🏼
Hey guys, love the section about how you'd approach training a total beginner. My goal is to be as fit as possible in the long term without competing in the sport of Crossfit. The all-roundness is what I like about the sport, but I know that in order to get better, I do want to commit to not doing the 'shiny' workouts for an extended (mnoths to years) period of time. how exactly would you pproach this, more into detail?
I like this podcast as you guys think with your own head about training (hence the title) rather than taking CrossFit methodology writings as the bible

Thanks 🙏
Thank you for the kind words!
I like the idea Max has where affiliate can get verified and you don’t have to measure and weigh things cause the gym is verified.
Yes to the shirt. 10/10 would wear
I love it when Max says "world class".
This comment is world class
Any chance we can see some of Travis’s Rogue Qualifier workouts?? My picks would be 1/2/4
Not sure if he'll post the full things anywhere, but in a week or two we're releasing a behind the scenes kinda vid of the weekend

Yup I'm still here
You have a very interesting name
@@maxel-hag4389 recognize it?
Fortunately we don't have to pick a single fitness methodology. We can pick the best from each and combine them according to our needs
Personally i do CrossFit in my garage to avoid the constraints of boxes that have to please their clients who just want Metcons inside the box
Keep it up guys!
10 years ago was basically the barbell shrugged days, now.
I want that shirt 👋🏼
